Update: As of 8/13 Lowe's came thru and did a buyout of refrigerator and we received a gift card for cost of the refrigerator and what we spent on warranty as well. I feel bad it had to come to the first review to get the problem solved. But shout out thank you Lowe's for taking care of things!
I purchased a Samsung Bespoke Refrigerator 12/31/24 and purchased the 5 year extended warranty. My compressor went out 8/1/26. Started calling everywhere to see if I could get someone but no luck on the weekend. I called warranty people Assurant Saturday and they said they would expedite the order and get someone out. They showed up Tuesday 8/4/26 confirmed it was the compressor which Samsung had already told me that. They ran a diagnostic on it. The Repair Pro technician said he would order the part and would take 5 days. Here we are 13 days out and the repair is not done. Lowes claims it's out of their hands. Asurrance which we have called every other day and each time it takes 10 minutes of answering an automated question before you actually get someone then it just starts over. They will expedite the request. I asked to speak to the assurance Supervisor and was told they were available. I asked in person at Lowes to give me the District Mgr name and was told they would send her my info. I had to purchase a mini fridge to keep my medication cold. Assurance did say they would refund the cost for it. Meanwhile I called Samsung and they said to tell Assurant or Lowes to reach out to them and they would take care of it. Nobody called Samsung! The compressor is under warranty for 10 years so Lowes isn't out any money! Do not buy from any appliances from Lowe's we went to the Webster, TX store and definitely do not buy their extended warranty. I am getting ready to call the local news station that helps consumers when they can't get something done that is no fault of their on. So today 8/13 Lowe's responded to my post and ask that I call so I did. I reached the appliance department and was told they couldn't help me!

Shopped at this location on Tuesday Aug 11th at around 03:45 PM.
The strange looking white guy at the self checkout section was very rude and disrespectful. He asked to check my receipt which I did not mind (although I am sure that he does not have that right, at least not in that manner), but afterwards he did not apologize for wasting my time or even say thank you for shopping at Lowe’s or whatever other greetings they usually express. I wanted to ask for his manager but I did not want to stress out my handicapped father who was with me at the time. I don’t want to harm his job status but my suggestion is better training by Lowe’s management at Webster location on customer service ethics for their employees.

Checkout is always a pain here at this one, they pretend to work then don't work , you ask a question and it's like end of the world, if I have to shop for stuff and pay for it and then get to check out and have to check myself out, why on gods earth are you employing people to just stand there , get mad when asked ,pretend to work with higher up walks by and right at the last item to ring you want to take over like you're helping me ... No get the hella way , you need to just stop with this Lowe's. Your employees don't care about their job or the customers. They wanna play dress up for the cameras when it's their turn.

Ask for help w/ fixtures...none came, needed some toilets, went to plumbing, same story...no help, gave up & made my $1500 purchase at the orange store down the street...this store has gone to hell...I'll shop Home Depot or go to Pearland before I shop at baybrook again!
