Hello All.. I do not normally.
Write reviews. However, the store in Victoria, Texas needs to have a real reality check. Today i attempted to buy a box of tile. They have a ton on sale. So spotted a box that was labeled 24 cents a tile it was marked down from.69 cents. I brought it to the check out. The clerk said " i cant sell this".. i said why ..she replys" it's marked down 2 cents a tile". i said it is mark clearly .24 a tile. Long story short after two managers, they grabbed the box and ran off with it. This, in my opinion, is false advertising!! I did not get that box from a back room. It was on their sales floor clearly marked twenty four cents a tile. totally disgusted, I went to Home depot, and I bought some additional things there. I asked that clerk there, how does that work for you, markdowns? If He said, sometimes customers bring an item to the cashier. It's marked a penny and they sell it to them. Because they have to sell it. i can also tell you that I know of several retailers that at end of season their stuff gets marked down anywhere from 10 cents or below they sell the stuff ! So this, in my opinion, is the worst form of business. Worse yet not even a manager could make this right. Homedepot is so much better. I still cant believe Lowes would not sell me that box .24 per tile × 30 tile. So for less than a $8.00 sale. They lost a customer and pushed me towards their competition.

My problem is the appliance warranty. You need to set a claim online or use an 800 number using A I. Never able to speak to anyone. You have to ask questions and reply to A I generated chat box. I went online was given an appt for July 15. At 7am on July 15 I received a confirmation by text of the tech coming between 8-5. At 11am that same day a generated update via text was sent to me to inform me that the tech ordered the part that same morning so appt had to be reset. Why not order the part at time claim and appt were set? I was reset for July 20 then again July 17. Ok. Then July 17 i get a generated message again at 7 am to say tech be here 8-5. At 9 am i used the chat box AI generated before a live agent answered my chat because i told them i wanted to purchase warranty. I lied but I got answer to my question, which was where was the tech. The live agent said there was actually no tech available that day but because the appts are AI generated it must have been a mistake. Reset appt AGAIN. Today I finally had tech come. Washer is now working. I did call Lowes and after using a darn dial 1 for this dial 2 for that …i was finaly routed to the appliance dept which was not as willing to help me as they were when I was sold the warranty. Whatever happened to customer service with an actual person on the other end and that actually helped. AI to set appointments? Lowes how about looking into a better warranty company if your gonna sell warranties.

After using my Lowe's card up to $350-500 max. I wanted to pay on my bill using my bank account. But it switched me to pay thur Synchrony. My bank did not recognize them (thoughtit was fraud). So they denied the withdrawal, but they ran it again and the payment (Synchrony consider it insufficient funds) went through ($25). I did this on my phone the first time. Then next payment I did on my laptop to make sure of payment. The same thing happen. After the banks finally got it together. I have since paid my balance down to $47 was ahead of time on payments. Not any notification by my bank, Lowe's, Synchrony apps of what happened. But they closed my Lowe's account. Home Depot the same. Beware!!!! Contractors!!!! 2 Strikes and you're DECLINED!!!!!!!!

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
