Was very surprised to see they had a kids program. They had a children's workshop in progress when I went. It was a bit noisy with the children hammering. But super excited to see a community program in progress.

I shop at a lot of big box stores all over Houston as a General Contractor, and the Tomball Lowe’s has some of the best people I’ve worked with. Annette at checkout is always great to see, she remembers my name every time I come in, is always friendly, and genuinely helpful.
I also have to give a huge shoutout to Terry at the Pro Desk. I’ve dealt with Pro Desk employees hundreds of times over the years, and Terry is by far one of the most knowledgeable and resourceful people I’ve worked with. He communicates well, stays on top of timelines, and has helped make sure materials are ordered and delivered on time to avoid job delays. Having people like that makes a big difference when you’re managing projects and schedules every day.

Just realized they installed Flock cameras in front of Lowe’s. My family will avoid shopping at any Lowe’s going forward until they decide to remove these mass surveillance tools. It’s a shame because it is the closest improvement store near our home but if I have to drive an extra 15-20 to shop somewhere that doesn’t support mass surveillance of Americans, that is what we will do. Go do research on these cameras and you’ll realize that this is another grab of our privacy. They’ll say “oh it’s only in case of theft or crime” absolute BS they are AI integrated and track your movements wherever you go. These cameras are popping up everywhere, get ready for the dystopian future we have been warned about for the last 40 years. Maybe some of y’all will finally wake up and try to stop this but unfortunately most Americans put convenience and the illusion of “safety” over their own privacy. Good luck and stay safe!
