- MLMaria LabordaMay 11, 20261.0Purchased a Tempur-Pedic neck pillow from the flagship store in The Woodlands, Texas, and unfortunately the experience left me extremely disappointed. Part of this is on me because I should have asked more questions before purchasing, but this is exactly the kind of customer service issue that frustrates people. The biggest problem is that the return and warranty policies are completely different depending on whether you buy online or directly from a flagship store, and this was never clearly explained during the purchase process. If I had purchased the exact same pillow through the Tempur-Pedic website, I would have had a return window and warranty protections that apparently do not apply at the local store level. Instead, after purchasing from the flagship store, I found out there are essentially no meaningful return options. What makes this worse is that other companies like Casper and Sleep Number openly offer generous trial periods because they understand that pillows and sleep products are deeply personal and may not work for everyone. Tempur-Pedic’s flagship store policy feels outdated and unnecessarily restrictive by comparison. The most frustrating part is not even the policy itself. It’s the lack of transparency. At no point did anyone clearly explain that the flagship stores operate under different rules than the website. Customers should not have to discover this only after they need help. I expected better communication and better customer support from a premium brand.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store
Can I use my current frame with my Tempur-Pedic Mattress?
Yes. We design our mattresses to fit most standard size bed furniture and frames.
Unless your product was not designed for the U.S. market, or is an unusual size, our mattresses should fit.
If you have any question about whether a Tempur-Pedic mattress will fit your bed or furniture frame, we recommend that you refer to the specific product dimensions.
If you choose not to purchase our foundation, you must position the mattress on a completely flat, solid surface with adequate center support.
If you have a slatted foundation, we recommend using slats that are at least 3 inches wide and are no more than 4 inches apart.
Please note that using the mattress without a Tempur-Pedic foundation or similar firm, solid-surface, non-spring base may void the warranty.
How does my new mattress arrive?
With the exception of our TEMPUR-Cloud, select mattresses arrive with White Glove delivery. With our free White Glove delivery, your mattress will arrive in a plastic covering which will be removed upon delivery for set up.
The TEMPUR-Cloud is a convenient option at a lower price that ships to your door compressed in a bag for you to set up on your own time. This design makes the TEMPUR-Cloud great for those who have narrow hallways or doorways, live in apartments, or want to have a contact-free delivery! The TEMPUR-Cloud does not receive our White Glove delivery as it is shipped via UPS. This means that it will be delivered to your door and removal of your old mattress is not available.
What is the difference between Medium & Medium Hybrid in feel?
Tempur-Pedic’s hybrids are like no other, because our innovative coil system works in combination with one-of-a-kind TEMPUR® Material to deliver unmatched pressure relief and support — plus, a more “responsive” feel from the premium coils that sleepers may prefer. This makes our hybrids a perfect introduction to Tempur-Pedic (and a welcome upgrade!) if you’ve only slept on traditional spring mattresses in the past.
While our hybrid mattress options are best described as “medium,” they’re created a bit differently than our other medium-feel mattresses. Our non-hybrid mattresses are constructed entirely of our legendary TEMPUR® materials (placed on top of a foam base layer), while our Medium Hybrid options contain a 1000+ coil system to provide all the pressure relief and support you expect from a Tempur-Pedic mattress — with the added “bounce” from the coils.
Another difference? Our Medium Hybrid mattresses are created using our softest material available, TEMPUR-ES™, so our hybrids tend to feel slightly softer than our Medium, non-hybrid options. If a hybrid is starting to sound like a great fit, you can choose between our TEMPUR-Adapt®, TEMPUR-ProAdapt®, and TEMPUR-PRObreeze° models. Do you have replacement covers for mattresses?
Yes, we do, for any of our mattresses with a removable cover. You can order replacement covers for our current mattress models online here. If you need the cover for an older mattress or you don't see your mattress listed, you can talk to one of our Sleep Guides in the store to help you find yours.
