I have always received good customer service at the Texarkana Lowe’s. However, today I had three different employee's including one at the customer service desk call for help in the inside lawn equipment area and no one ever showed. I needed a lithium battery that was locked up in a cabinet. There were employees all over the store, but could not find one to get the item I needed.

I was greeted with smiles upon entry, was approached as soon as i went to the department i needed and was immediately brought right where I was needing! I then went to a different department to look for smaller electric connectors and was greeted by another crew member that was happy to aid me in any way shape or form! I will forever recommend lowes over the other stores in the area!

Unsatisfied with my recent order for a zero turn mower.
Facts only.
I researched Lowe's mowers and confirmed the item I needed was in stock, it was. Therefore, I placed my order online (0930) for a curbside pick up that same day because I needed it for immediate use. I was well aware there was minor assembly of the mower that Lowes was going to be handling before pick up. The Lowe's update stated a same day pick up, so my wife and I drove 40 minutes to Texarkana and
at 1130 I went into the store to inquire about the status of my order. I was told the only information available would be from the employee who pulled my order. No one could tell me who that person was, no further assistance was provided. My wife and I waited in the parking lot until 1400 when my wife went inside to get an update. She spoke to a helpful employee who informed her the employees responsible for assembly of orders weren't at work yet and she didn't know when they start their shift.
I called Lowe's today and after several minutes of battling the AI answering machine requesting a representative (live person), I waited on hold for another 14 minutes until my call was answered.
The representative was very professional and courteous, however, I waited on hold for several more minutes while she tried to get ahold of the store. Once she did, the store was unable to provide an updated status. Assembly was still in work from the day prior.
Subsequently, I had her cancel my $3500 order. She input the reason for my cancelation was because the item wasn't picked up?!?
I canceled my order due to this stores a "broken" assembly process, lack of internal communication, website inaccuracy, and lack of "give a ......... Still being factual and not emotional.
After my call with the representative she asked me to hold for I the customer survey, shortly thereafter I was then hung up on. You can't find a feedback link pining their website.
Store managers need this type of feedback in order for them to improve their in-store and company practices. Leaning a process to improve it will equate to higher customer satisfaction, higher monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue, etc.
This is a $3500+ loss for this store!
Repeat purchases & referrals is paramount.
I can't in good conscience recommend purchasing a riding lawn mower or other equipment from this location.

Lowe's has what I need most of the time. But some the workers there, especially in the garden center area is too nonchalant. This is a business not a vacation spot! Take care of business at work and private life at home.
