Mr. Tailor was the actual associate who did the paperwork for our two chairs. The store is very attractive, well-run, and comfortable. - RMRay MAug 2, 20261.0I'm not a fan of overly aggressive sales approaches, and I think situational awareness could be improved. As soon as I walked into the store, I received an important phone call that I needed to take. While I was on the call, one of your sales associates approached me, greeted me, and asked if I needed help. I smiled, held up one finger to indicate, "Just a minute," and looked back at my phone, thinking it was clear that I was in the middle of an important conversation. Unfortunately, the associate continued talking and asking questions. I even tried walking away to find a quieter area to finish my call, but he continued following me and attempting to engage me in conversation. At that point, it became difficult to focus on my phone call, so I decided to leave the store altogether and did not return. I understand that your associates are encouraged to greet customers and offer assistance, and I appreciate that they want to be helpful. However, there is a difference between being attentive and recognizing when a customer is clearly occupied. A little more awareness of body language and social cues would have created a much better experience. I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience. I would have preferred to finish my call, continue browsing, and then ask for assistance when I was ready.
