This review is not about the store. It's about the way they treated an employee today. A register attendant by the name of Kate had a bloody nose. It was clear the assistant manager was aware of her bloody nose but she did not tell Kate to step away from the register to care for her situation. Instead, Kate was still at the register ringing up items with one hand holding a bloody tissue to her nose and the other hand touching customers items and she was also touching the cashier. This poor girl had a bloody nose, in front of a busy store but yet, to the assistant manger, it was more important for Kate to remain at her post until someone was there to relieve her. This was an awful display of caring for employees and also for letting Kate touch the register and customer's items with a bloody nose. It was clear the assistant manager cared more about moving the lines than letting the employee go care for herself. This was awful to watch. I'd hate to be sitting there with all these customers in line trying to manage my bloody nose. I don't know the protocol here but it was clear that the assistant manger made Kate wait and keep the line moving until relief was available. Shut down the line, make customers wait, and put your employees first. As a customer, I would have understood and would have applauded a paused line for allowing an employee tend to a medical situation right away. Shame on you assistant manager. I wish I would have caught your name but your name tag said assistant manager and that's what I had to go on. I was in line today around 1:26pm.

I have genuinely never felt compelled to leave a negative review before, but I left this Hobby Lobby feeling like I needed to.
My experience with an employee named Barry/Berry was extremely disappointing. Her manner of speaking to customers was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic courtesy. She was not proactive in checking on customer needs or offering assistance, and when help was actually requested, she made it seem like an inconvenience.
My mother had been in the store just a few minutes before me and had left some posters behind. When I came in and simply asked where the lost and found section was, Barry/Berry blatantly rolled her eyes at me. It was such an unnecessary and disrespectful reaction to a completely normal question.
She was also incredibly dismissive toward my mother when she asked for help cutting a mat. Instead of assisting her politely, she treated her as though she were bothering her for asking for help. My mother was spoken to with absolutely no respect.
Customer service does not require anything extraordinary, just basic professionalism, courtesy, and a willingness to help customers. Unfortunately, none of that was reflected in our experience. Her attitude was unnecessarily hostile and made both of us feel unwelcome. I sincerely hope management addresses this, because no customer should leave a store feeling the way we did.

have to say, Hobby Lobby never disappoints and this visit was fantastic from start to finish.
First off, the store is immaculate. Every aisle is perfectly organized, clean, and fully stocked. It's so easy to find what you're looking for, and even when you're just browsing you end up discovering so many beautiful things. Unlike other craft stores that feel cluttered and chaotic, Hobby Lobby always feels calm and inspiring to walk through.
The selection is just unbeatable. Whether you need fabric, yarn, art supplies, scrapbooking, home decor, seasonal items, or custom framing - they have it all, and the quality is top tier. I went in for a few specific items and left with a cart full of amazing finds I didn't even know I needed. Their seasonal decor section is always stunning and way more high-end looking than the price tag.
What really makes this store stand out is the staff. Every employee I interacted with was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I needed help finding a specific type of paint and not only did an associate walk me directly to it, she gave me great advice on what would work best for my project. You can tell they actually enjoy crafting themselves.
Checkout was fast with plenty of registers open, and I love that they always have great sales - 40% off coupons and weekly rotating department sales make it so affordable to stock up.
If you love to create, decorate, or DIY anything, this is THE place to go. I left feeling inspired and excited to start my next project. Fantastic store, fantastic experience. I will be back very soon!
