  We absolutely love our backyard oasis created by South Texas Custom Pools! They truly transformed our backyard space into something beautiful and functional while working closely with us and the designers to create a masterpiece that fits our lifestyle perfectly. The entire team was professional, responsive, and transparent throughout the process. They took the time to explain everything clearly, communicate each step, and ensure we felt comfortable with the decisions being made. When situations arose, Wayne and his team worked with us to make things right and always focused on customer satisfaction. Working with Wayne and the South Texas Custom Pools team was a great experience from start to finish. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to create a custom backyard oasis!

  we brought a gary pool about 2yrs ago and it’s been awesome the opening of the pool was great compared to an above pool.The sales people were great and the people they work with to install the pool and plumbing and cement people they have were really good. My sister went to pick up a basket for the skimmer and Felix he was very friendly. That company is awesome too work with. Our pool was a fiberglass pool. if your looking to install a pool all Gary pool.

  Have used STCP for over 5 years for weekly cleaning. Price is competitive, service is consistent and they do a good job. I appreciate the report they send each time that shows what they did, pictures, and the chemical balance along with any chemicals used. Management is quick to respond anytime I have emailed with a question.

  These guys are outstanding! They rebuilt our waterfall, fixed a failed fire feature, replaced and upgraded our pool equipment, and replaced our broken and missing tile. Of particular note is Sonny. Best project manager I’ve worked with. Highly recommended!

  We hired South Texas Custom Pools and cleaning about two years ago to replaster our pool and repair a crack in the pool wall. At the time, Sonny (their lead salesperson) assured us the staples being used to repair the crack would last for years and that we wouldn’t have any issues and he guaranteed the work (paraphrased ). The work was completed, we paid approx $30,000 total and were told the work was under warranty. Less than a year later, the exact same crack came back in the exact same spot. We contacted the company, spoke with Sonny again, and they scheduled a visit. We provided photos from the original issue, and they had their own as well. We were very clear—this was the same crack and should be covered under warranty. Sonny reviewed the photos and agreed it was the same issue from before and that the work was under warranty. When their contractor arrived with his workers, they drained the pool and told us directly that the previous work was shoddy and not done correctly, which is why the crack returned. They blamed a third party that South Texas Pools had hired (paraphrasing) to do the initial repairs. After doing a quick patch, the workers left for the day. We later received a call from Sonny saying the repair was not covered under warranty, blaming weather and other unrelated factors. We were then told we needed to pay an additional $5,000 to fix the issue, again, the exact same issue in the exact same location. He stated, the work will not be completed until you pay. At that point, we were left with an empty pool and partially started work, so we felt pressured to move forward and pay. When the work was completed it was obvious that the color code of the plaster did not match what they previously used. There is a distinct difference in the color and clearly visible. Sonny and the lead contractor were advised. They responded, there’s nothing they could do since they guessed on the color code because the 3rd party crew that initially did the work couldn’t be reached and we were (in so many words) out of luck. We did not get a chance to review the color or were privy of the details until after the work was done. It was evident that it did not match. Bottom line: do not hire this company. The initial sales experience may seem convincing, but if something goes wrong, don’t expect accountability. They did not honor their warranty and shifted blame instead of standing behind their work. Lastly, we made multiple attempts to speak with the owner but to no avail. We were given the runaround for days by Sonny and his sales team without any resolution. At this point, we have to ask, does South Texas Custom Pools and cleaning have an owner, and are they aware of how customers are being treated? We aren’t sure. I hope no one else has to go through additional costs for work that was listed under warranty. We were very disappointed in how this was handled. Customers should not have to pay twice for the same problem, especially when it was caused by poor workmanship the first time. Do better. I’m sure this will be responded with an “I’m sorry you were not satisfied with our work, blah blah, keep your canned response, we’ve heard it all— This write up is for the public not for you.
