Usually pretty good and having what I need but the one time I tried to come and get the small igloo cup that was supposed to start at 10am. We were told that they did not have any more because they were allowed to start early. Not only myself, but others came in with the same expectation of time only to receive a 20% coupon

If you purchase plants and immediately return them when you realize you overbought or your layout changed, they will just throw them away. Literally- completely healthy plants with no reason to discard. Absolutely disgusting. Worse part? The employee encouraged us to purchase and bring back any that didn’t work. What a horrible waste.
Oh and take a look at the photo. I tried to call a manager to discuss the policy and my frustrations. I have now been an a call looping over and over with no one assisting. The woman that answered originally (after all the AI prompts) was extremely rude and snapped that it wasn’t the store I was on the phone with (customer care). How would I know that? I called the local store number. If she is considered customer care, she needs MAJOR retraining. She even let out a huge sigh when I didn’t have an order number. I don’t order the plants… I only have a receipt. I hope they monitor their calls. What a huge joke. This is why my corporate account is at HOME DEPOT! And HD only throws away plants if they are dead when returned. Never again, Lowe’s.

Very disappointed with my experience at Lowe’s regarding the military discount. My husband is a Marine veteran, and we have used the military discount without an issue before. In fact, my ID worked just last week.
Today, suddenly it wouldn’t work, and the employee told me my ID should “show Veteran.” I explained that I am the spouse—of course my ID is not going to identify **me** as the veteran. My husband is the veteran.
What made the situation even more frustrating was that they couldn’t simply honor a measly **$2 discount**. It was never about the $2. It was about the principle and the lack of effort to resolve such a small issue, especially when the same identification had worked the week before.
If Lowe’s is going to advertise its support for veterans and military families, employees should be properly informed about how the military discount and spouse eligibility work. A little common sense and customer service would have gone a long way. Very disappointing experience.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, the situation got even more frustrating. I specifically asked the employee to please put the items on hold so my husband could come back to pick them up, and she told me she would. When my husband returned, the items were not on hold. He was then told that, technically, the employee who told me she would hold them was wrong because she apparently wasn’t even allowed to put the items on hold in the first place.
So at this point, one employee tells us one thing, another tells us something completely different, and we’re the ones inconvenienced because the employees don’t seem to know their own store policies. The entire experience has been a true mess from beginning to end.

I'm not used to going to home improvement stores so I felt a bit uncomfortable at first. I was looking for eye protection and was able to find the correct aisle. However, I wasn't sure as to which product to choose. Fortunately, an employee approached me and she helped me pick out the purchase I needed. I was very impressed with her, especially since I can't even remember the last time an employee, at any store, asked me if I needed help and actually assisted me in finding what I needed. I walked into the store feeling uncomfortable but walked out having a positive opinion of Lowe's.
