- MJMarie JamesMay 12, 20265.0I went into Hobby Lobby looking for a vertical wooden “Welcome” sign for my front porch. I found one in the Spring Shop section, but it was scratched up. I asked a female employee if there were any more in stock, & she told me that if it was on the shelf, that was all they had. I then asked if there were any other vertical welcome signs, and she said there were some in the middle of the store. I went looking but couldn’t find them. Then I came across another employee named Thomas and asked him about the sign I was looking for. He immediately said, “We sure do. Let me show you,” and personally walked me over to the area where they were located. The one he showed me was a little more expensive than the first one I found, but he let me know it was on sale. I told him I'll take it. Thomas carried it to the register for me. Because of Thomas, Hobby Lobby did not lose a $40 sale or a customer. He was helpful & friendly, and because of employees like him, I will definitely shop there again.

- SSSvetlana SmithApr 3, 20261.0I have been to stores where cashiers don’t greet you, but this so called “christian” store took it even a step further - their cashiers don’t even look at you. They canceled my fabric order and just left me hanging there. After 9 days of waiting I called myself to inquire about it and it took them over 20 minutes of lying and twisting things around to finally tell me that they just canceled it. If I was being told that they would not be able to handle this from the get go I wouldn’t buy that little piece of the same fabric to begin with. But now of course there is a store policy to follow about returns, yet there is none about lying to a customer and tricking them into buying something they would not be able to use.
