I bought a lot of glassware and she made sure to wrap each one, and was very friendly, Hobby Lobby she’s a keeper!
- MMMatthew MoralesAug 10, 20261.0I walked into the store happy and proceeded to walk out profiled and almost trespassed. Helen is (hopefully was) an indoor shopper that followed us around the ENTIRE time we were looking around. This went on for about 15-20 minutes and we were getting nervous about being there. Eventually we all noticed this individual hovering us and proceeded to call her out by saying “can you please stop following us?” Then she turned the corner and blabbered on about how she was, in fact, following us but it was her job. Mind you, the existence of other customers store that were not experiencing this level of surveillance. Then we were escorted to the front basically being shoved out by this same person. We then talked to a manager where she claimed, get this, we escalated the situation by calling her out. She wanted a rise out of us so she had probable cause. We remained calm and collected, however, and left with broken spirits but everything else in tact. Hobby Lobby is not friendly to all of its customers, and my broken spirit shows as such. I hope everyone gets what they’ve earned in this situation.
- GNGabriela NunezAug 10, 20261.0Helen, Secret Shopper, Black Rifle shirt, black fanny pack, dark red lip liner, even redder lipstick, dark brown eyeshadow and even darker eyebrows. It is unfortunate that an establishment i love shopping at profiled me and my family. She was following us and my partner told me that she was. We didn’t want to assume anything so we walked across the store to the opposite end. Then when she followed us there too i had called out to her telling her, “can you stop following us?” if you didn’t think you were following us then why would you come over and tell us “i wasn’t following you!” then in the same breath say “it’s my job”. She was very unprofessional yelling and screaming like a toddler to brand new customers. She asked for our ID and when we told her “no” she wanted to report us for trespassing and brought us to the front. if you do not believe us please look for yourself at the security cameras. Helen is unfortunately the weakest link in the chain that is Hobby Lobby.
