I’m extremely frustrated with how this situation has been handled.
My monthly rate increased from $73 to $120—an approximately 64% increase—and I did not receive any notice of the increase by mail or email. I understand that storage rates can change, but increasing a customer’s monthly bill by nearly two-thirds without providing notice is incredibly frustrating.
I called the facility to discuss the increase, and the manager told me he would look into my account and call me back. I never received a call. I called again and was once again told that someone would look into the issue and return my call. Again, I never received a callback.
When I called back a third time, I was told that a request had been submitted to reduce my monthly rate to approximately $80. I did not submit or request that rate reduction, and no one contacted me to explain who submitted the request, why it was submitted, or what had been done to my account.
While I appreciate having the rate lowered, that does not address the fact that I was charged $120 without receiving notice of the 64% increase. I asked about a refund for the approximately $47 difference and was told the facility could not issue it, so I had to contact customer service separately and submit a refund request.
My biggest frustration is the lack of communication and follow-through. I was promised multiple callbacks that never happened, and I had to repeatedly call to get updates about my own account.
I understand that storage rates can change, but a 64% increase without notice, a rate-reduction request that I did not submit, and repeated missed callbacks are unacceptable. I am now waiting to see whether my refund request will be resolved.

Alexandra was a great help in the move in process. She walked through the app with me to insure I understood how to use it. She also change my access code because I had given it to the moving company. She is a definite asset to the company.
