I would never recommend it. This has been the worst pest control we have ever had. We specifically asked for a hornet and wasp extermination, and it literally did not get done nor did the person that came to the house rang the doorbell to even find out where it was. Worst service ever.

Aptive service so far has been disappointing. I initially signed a contract June 10 and requested a do-over as allowed. No shows for two appointments. No communication from agent assigned. The sales rep managed to contact someone who’s suppose to show up tomorrow. So far, no one has contacted to confirm the pending appointment. Lack of communication, efficiency, and service as provided. Already warned customer service of my intent to stop the payment due to failure on their part to meet service terms.

Paul was great. He asked me about the problem areas and treated them accordingly. I could’ve gone without him assuming I was the grandmother of my baby though. It’s ok.. but I’m barely 38. That’s what I get for letting my grey hairs come in. 😅

I have mentioned multiple times to “managers” the days that I am home and available for the service to be scheduled yet still it’s always scheduled for days I have to work. This last service they didn’t even service my house they serviced someone else’s. I asked the tech to send photos and he kept saying he had bad service. When I logged in online that’s when I had seen the uploaded photos were someone else’s house and I’ve been unable to get a hold of the company to reschedule the service.

I am a real customer and I have the screenshots, the botched email records, and the billing statements to prove all of this. If Aptive corporate wants to dispute this, they have my actual account history on file.
Aptive Environmental uses predatory door-to-door sales tactics and intentionally misleading billing practices.
We were verbally quoted a cheap introductory rate by an agent named Nate. He rushed us to initial a tablet under the guise of standard authorization, completely hiding the fact that he was locking us into a 24-month contract with early termination fee. They never verbally disclosed the contract or the cancellation penalty.
To make matters worse, their internal records are a total joke. They completely mangled our email address on day one, ensuring we never received the digital contract portal or links to see what they actually signed us up for. When we called to dispute a random $90 charge for a physical service they NEVER even performed on our property, customer service tried to hold a digital signature over our heads.
They even claimed to have 'photo and video proof' of the signature, except the person in their media had a beard and a white cap—I don't have a beard and don't even own a white cap. They are literally attributing other people's data and identities to random accounts.
I paid the cancellation fee just to legally sever ties with this circus and protect my family from their harassment, but save yourself the absolute nightmare. They will lie to your face on your front porch, botch your account details, bill you for zero work, and extort you on the way out the door. Stay far away.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
