On January 29, 2026 our very old Maytag needed service so instead of putting more money into the older machine we decided to purchase a new one. We went to Lowes who we always preferred to purchase from and spoke with them about different Washer/Dryer units to replace the old ones. We decided on a Euro style washer/dryer combo which saves us space. It was almost President's Day so we were going to wait to see if they would go on sale, but Ryan the sales rep told us that under their 30 day price guarantee, if the unit were to drop in price or someone has it for less they would credit us the difference. So we purchased it and found it $103 less expensive somwhere else and notified Ryan sending him the link to the lower priced unit. He promised he would make sure we received the price match and said he would change the price of our unit to the lower price which would save us on tax. That never happened. I did find an Oncor Electric offer for $100 total if we purchased an energy efficient washer and dryer and was provided a letter from Oncor and Lowes customer service did give us 2 $50.00 credits representing the washer and the dryer credits. I had to do not one but 2 disputes about the price match before finally they applied not the price match but the $100 drop in their pricing and they did not apply the credit as a drop in our purchase price which would have saved us tax as promised so I am out a lot because they refused to keep their word and honor their Price Match Guarantee PROMISE. I doubt seriously that we will trust them on large purchases again unless they are willing to make this right AS PROMISED.

Early morning is peaceful in the Garden Center. Lots of variety and limited deals to check out. The clearance finds are a fine deal. This is a good location.

I live in north Garland area. I placed an order for delivery and it came from this store. I ordered one simple display shelf. From Rubbermaid. Prefinished from the manufacturer. The person that pulled my order decided to pull one that was less than perfect. I have a shelf with chipped edges and corners.
And now I have to go to a store to do a return. I paid for a delivery and have to make a trip myself as well to get what I want. When I called to complain to the store, there were unable to find a manager who was able to speak to me. Hopefully, Mr Brooks will see this review since he was too busy for a phone chat.
This is why I do business with the Lowe's closest to my house, and hint, it is not the one actually in Garland. Richardson East is great.
