Might want to retrain Leah on customer service. She got mad that I didn’t ring the bell at the fabric table after only standing there for less than a minute. There was already an employee working the fabric table a minute prior to when I got in line so I was waiting for her to return. After Leah rolled her eyes and got pissy with me for not ringing the bell, she told me the employee who was here had gone to the bathroom. How was I supposed to know this? Since she was forced to actually do her job, she had an attitude, and threw my fabric receipt and my fabric across the table at me when she was done. Not exactly a way to get a customer to return. Not to mention it was my first time in. Will not be returning.

My mom and I were shopping for fabric to make a blanket for my baby girl that’s due in September. We were shouted at from across a department from a very unhappy worker. She didn’t like that we were walking around with the fabric to match the trim. She was unkind to start and belligerently aggressive to end the interaction. Her name was Anna Theresa. She clearly has a problem with customer service and shouldn’t be anywhere near customers to begin with. Every other worker was extremely kind and the assistant manager did a great job deescalating the situation. I recommend the store in every regard besides Mrs Anna Theresa. I was appalled at how she spoke to my mom who didn’t do anything to upset this very angry individual.

My first time shopping in this location—I stopped in to grab a couple items and went to the check out where the only lane open was Returns & Exchanges.
Made sense, because there were hardly any people checking out at the moment I was walking up to the registers.
There was a gentleman being helped at the counter with something and it seemed as though someone else needed to be phoned up to assist with his question/needs.
There was a woman behind him, and I was third in line.
After waiting several minutes the woman in front of me politely asked the customer service manager, Laura, if she could possibly open another register, as she had a doctors appointment to get to.
Laura’s immediate response was an annoyed, sarcastic, and passive aggressive tone. Paraphrasing, Laura loudly said to the woman “I’ve already called for someone to come up here, you are just going to have to wait”
The woman turned around to me and said “I didn’t think I was being rude, was I?”
And no, she was not.
Laura continued making passive aggressive comments about “everyone decided to show up at once” and many sighs while that woman was checking out after a register had been opened.
I spoke to Laura on my way out letting her know I found that interaction to be unacceptable, to which she just doubled down saying she couldn’t open a register herself.
GREAT Laura— next time, please just inform the customer kindly of the process instead of catching an attitude for the entire queue to hear.
I spoke to a gentleman who overheard and asked me what happened and he mentioned he would check back on the security cameras later…..I hope you did and I hope for a better experience for your customers.
Laura, as a customer service manager… how hard is it really to simply say “I’m very sorry for the wait, I have someone on the way to open a register for me and we’ll assist you as soon as possible”
I don’t need anyone to bend over backwards to serve, I too have worked in retail, but save that attitude for a customer who is actually being disrespectful, not one who is asking for CUSTOMER. SERVICE.
As a customer, I don’t find this second-hand experience to be acceptable.
