This review is 100% for Tatyana Byars managing the front desk at this location.
Company pricing policies aside, Tatyana’s outstanding service is the only reason I haven't moved my unit elsewhere over the last year. Extra Space Storage needs to work on the constant corporate rate hikes since they can be a real pain for everyone!
Tatyana, however, has always been professional, incredibly helpful, and a true asset towards my experience since I moved in over a year ago. She always has the answer to any question I have!

I have been renting here for a couple months. It has been rocky since the beginning. I had to move storages initially cause I had another tenant who frequently hung out at their storage and would monitor me whenever I would come visit. We had a conversation and come to find out they were racist so the staff ended up moving me. I’ve only been in this new storage for two months and my bill is due and they’ve increased my rate because of “market competition.” They usually communicate with me through email so I wasn’t aware of the rate increase but they’re saying they mailed me a notice and her exact words were that’s how extra space does it and they can change the rate at any time. This rep use to be so kind and now she seems so cold. My experience with them has not been good.

UNACCEPTABLE!! I called Tatyana at 11am Saturday to make a payment and update my phone number on file, she had ZERO PATIENCE. I’ve spoken to her many times. She’s waved at me in the hallway in the past and today she acted like she didn’t know me. Today, she answered the phone rudely and asked for my card number over and over, unable to type in the numbers. I repeated it 4 times- and the slower and more clear I spoke the ruder she got. I was speaking slowly and clearly each time but she couldn’t get the numbers correct, and different ones she messed up on. (Maybe she’s hungover from Friday night or on drugs?!) She rudely hung up on me after I asked why I couldn’t make a payment on the app and didn’t update my phone number. I’ll call a different location from now on to handle my account. This service is unacceptable. If you’re going to take payment by phone and lock people out of their accounts you need a more confidential system.
