Now, the integration of Bed Bath & Beyond merchandise into its stores seems to dilute that core offering. The decision to dedicate significant floor space to a broader range of home goods changes the unique shopping experience that the Container Store once provided. The recent "Store Changing" event, involving the liquidation of a substantial portion of existing inventory to make way for new products, further emphasizes this abrupt transition. I certainly hope they can make it work, but it already feels like the staff has been halved and no longer seems like the retail professionals they once employed are there any longer.
