If I could give this store a negative five stars, I would, but I'm only able to leave a one star, and that's being very generous considering the treatment I have received from thevMidland lazy-boy manager Stevie and the nice lady whoi tried to help me nyt is ina position only tobobserve a crumbing no existent s store. I bought some, a recliner and a couch, at a great sum of money thinking the La-Z-Boy was the best brand out there, because it was not. I found out the hard way. I did not read the reviews. I have buyer's remorse because I bought a couch and a chair. The chair quit working after 10 days. I ordered it in November. It was delivered in December, and it quit late December. Worked 10 days. I tried to get the store out. They gave me the runaround until it was too late to return the products, not telling me I had a timeline, and they've given me the runaround. The 800 number lady called that number multiple times, multiple times, hundreds of times, both me and my secretary, and no return calls. So I called the store in April and raised holy hell. Had to call corporate Lubbock, the store in Midland, and the service number, and I finally got them to come out and pick up both items. The couch had a blueberry stain on it, and I had to exercise my Servco contract that I paid for, yet when I call Servco, they have no record of my contract through La-Z-Boy. This is real efficient. Anyway, they picked them up, and that was in April. Here it is, approaching July. I called the store this last Friday. The lady said to call the 800 number and leave a message, so I did on Monday. And on Thursday, I called the store again to ask why they didn't call me back, and the guy said who would call him personally, and then he hung up on me because I let him know how much bad service I had. So, I called the 800 number twice today and left two different messages. One, when you're going to call me back, and the next one, that you must have so much junk out there that you're overwhelmed with service calls. Folks, this is bad. You really need to change your way of doing business. It's no wonder you can drive around the Loop 250 in Midland and see hardly anybody at that store day, night, any time. Poor business.
