- SWSean WhiteJul 1, 20265.0I had an important framing project with a tight deadline that needed to be completed. I came in to this location with materials and ideas after first trying a different Hobby Lobby location. I spoke to a very nice young lady in framing named Jenny. She was excited to help me and ready to get to work. She was FANTASTIC! She was able to assist me and even provide me with some excellent suggestions. Jenny cut the mats needed and even assisted inserting some of the imaging I brought with me. Her expertise and sheer enjoyment of the the process was impressive. This is how customer service should be. I was also afforded the opportunity to speak to the store manager Brian who was in the back helping customers while Jenny assisted me. Well done leading from the front sir. This whole experience was top notch and I got a great outcome with my project. Keep up the excellent work.
- BMBruce MJun 28, 20261.0First of all, we like Hobby Lobby. With regret, the McKinney store assistant to the manager didn't provide any help at all when my wife wanted to buy a piece of furniture. She was told " buy it, then come back with some help to load it in your car". So, we went to the Prosper Hobby Lobby. Found the same piece of furniture, and the store management not only discounted the item due to a small scratch, but personally loaded it into our SUV. What a huge difference. That's customer service!

From what I gained the owners bought out a lot of the inventory for bed bath& beyond and out trying to sell it. There's no doubt that they're the leader in this space right now because Joanne's disappeared and Michael's is trying its best to rebuild. Such an opportunity for a store to provide hobby and craft material, but staffed with people who can help you discover your next adventure or help you with your current one. I mean I understand their politics is very Evangelical but let's not try to be so blatant. I'm not coming to hobby lobby to buy a Bible. Or to buy plates or toasters or other items like that. I'm kind of fine paint or flowers or stuff for Christmas or Halloween. Or maybe an adventure into printing t-shirts. My prediction is another company will come of the space. Eventually hobby lobby will have to adjust. Hopefully.
