  I've made many purchases over a decade as a longtime customer at several stores and never had to deal with a mess like this. Don't use the Aaron's in McKinney unless you want to be taken advantage of. I bought a home and made arrangements online to have appliances delivered nearly a month in advance. I paid the initial payment and before they were delivered, I was asked to make another payment. I was on auto pay and it didn't charge me because the appliances were still in "pending delivery" status, so the system must have figured out that I shouldn't be charged again until I actually get them. Online it says my next payment due was September 1st which sounds more accurate. However, they called every day after August 1st asking me to pay and I kept reminding them, I don't have anything to pay for yet. They said ok, but the next day I get called again. I finally get the appliances on August 4th and on the 6th they are calling again to collect payment. I asked them why I paid upfront for the first month if I'm getting charged again for a second time after only having the appliances 3 days. Austin, with the McKinney, TX store kept pushing me to make another payment until I just gave up dealing with him and said "Come pick it up!" and then hung up. I decided that I'm going to buy NEW ones, not used ones, from Lowes where I have a credit card and never deal with Aaron's again after being a customer for over a decade. Their cash price is way too high anyway. Pitiful.

  I wouldn’t recommend this place to a Dog. This company STOLE $200 from me and never delivered my furniture! This particular Aaron’s has had the worst inventory and customer service. I would recommend the Garland store. I will be getting my money back. *Update*> I reported the incident to the Corporate office. That following Monday, the accounts person called me and was actually arguing with me saying I owe them! They have zero communication in the same store. Anyway I received my furniture on the following Tuesday. The manager “apologized” but still justified the incident. The regional manager Carl was a gem though. He really apologized with no justification and made me whole by making up for the days I lost on the contracts. The delivery man was also apologetic. Mistakes can happen but it is the way a company handles them that matter.

  Chris and his team are so friendly and helpful. I recently had a personal emergency and my next payment was due. Not only did the team member assist me in a payment arrangement, they showed genuine concern for the unforeseen circumstances I was in. Chris and his team have earned my business and respect for life. I definitely won’t be using any other lease to purchase business. Thank you Chris and the McKinney location team.

  I made two separate purchases at two separate times. For the first order, I called to inquire about the delivery time. I didn’t need an exact time, just an estimate, so that I could make sure someone was home to let them into my home. The lady who answered the phone was very rude. She said she cannot give me a time, but sometime between 11 am and 3 pm. It was her tone that was uncalled for. I called after 3 to let them know that no one had come. A man answered the phone this time and was also rude, saying they already told me it would be from 3 pm- “close”. 🙄 My second order was scheduled to be delivered on a Saturday. They never called, never arrived. I sat there all day, waiting. This will be my last purchase. They are very unprofessional and inconsiderate of peoples’ time.
