Do not use Lowe's installation services. They are way overpriced. They end up using companies that have extra overhead costs. They have to pay Lowe's for the referral, a sales guy that comes to your house to figure out how much money they can squeeze out of you, the CEO of the company that just bought the company for profits. And then the tech that do all work but only get a small part. Just find your own contractor to do the work, I used references from co workers

I want to recognize Anthony at Lowe’s in Manvel, Texas, for providing truly exemplary customer service.
I had purchased an item through Instacart and later went into the store to return it. Unfortunately, the system kept showing an error, and the return would not process. Anthony immediately stepped in and tried to help. He even called for management assistance, but the manager on duty advised that the return could not be completed and did not offer any clear solution or next step.
What stood out to me was Anthony’s persistence, professionalism, and commitment to helping me. Rather than giving up, he continued working through the issue and tried multiple times until he was finally able to process the return successfully. Because of his determination, I was able to return the item and complete a new purchase.
Anthony is a tremendous asset to your organization. His patience, problem-solving skills, and dedication to customer satisfaction reflect the kind of service that keeps customers coming back. He should absolutely be commended for his outstanding work, and many associates could learn from his example.
Well done, Anthony.

Currently my rating is a 1. I've heard good things about this manvel location so I gave them a try and went through lowes to get a shower door installed. I did not know that lowes will not do it, but they go through a 3rd party vendor(arizona shower doors). If Lowes does, no one pointed me in the right direction to not go through the 3rd party when I spoke to folks over the phone. I was not able to go in the store so everything has been online and over the phone. I inquired through a lowes inquiry box on 2/3 and they assigned arizona shower doors to me. ASD reached out pretty quickly but then assigned the guy to add my door a few weeks later. First red flag because I don't know where it got lost with them but I didn't get to set up an appointment until 2/26 since that's when someone finally reached back out to me. He came out 3/1, measured my door, and was pretty knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with him. ASD stayed in communication to get my 1600 dollar payment to move forward and after that, not so much. They pushed my order forward without asking me if I want the door they provided, which was weird to me. I didn't know that you just get whatever door they want to give you, however, I didn't make a fuss because the picture just so happened to be a good match for my shower. After I made my payment on 3/6, I called the next day 3/7 to say that I wanted the handle on the right side instead of the left. They said ok, it was changed, and said I should hear something within 3 weeks to have it installed. My door came and was ready to install 4/2. The installer came in measured and remeasured a few times and then realized that they sent me the wrong door. The handle was on the wrong side. He said someone should call me since they messed up but no one ever did. I end up calling ASD after a week of not hearing anything and Lowes sending me emails telling me to close out my project since its done. I initially kept getting voicemails and then I got a hold of 3 different people until I got to the final person that basically told me "yeah. its getting handled" After I corrected them and told them when I spend 1600 dollars with a company and THEY send me the wrong door, I expect a simple phone call. They eventually apologized and told me they were short staffed, which I would've understood if you said this from the beginning but at this point, I'm not that understanding. Its now 4/16 and Im still getting emails from Lowes telling me that my project is complete and to sign a certificate of completion. I've called lowes to customer service to let them know whats going on and correct it in their system that it is not completed and I'm still getting emails pushing my to close it out. fingers crossed I get my shower door at this point.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
