  BYERS BEWARE CHECK THE WARRANTY Very Disappointed with LG Warranty Is Not What We Expected We purchased an LG refrigerator from Home Depot in November 2025. Only a few months later, the refrigerator stopped making ice. We contacted LG at 1-888-542-2623 to make a warranty claim, expecting a company to stand behind its product and send a technician to inspect the problem. Instead, the customer service representative refused to send a technician and simply told us to defrost the refrigerator because, according to her, that would fix the problem. Seriously, LG? We purchased a refrigerator not a freezer that we are expected to completely defrost every few months just to make ice. What are customers supposed to do with all the food in their refrigerator and freezer every 2–3 months? This is not a reasonable solution, especially for a relatively new appliance that is supposed to be covered by warranty. It's not even one year old. We are extremely disappointed with LG's customer service and warranty support. A warranty should mean that the manufacturer is willing to investigate and repair a legitimate problem not simply tell the customer to try something at home and refuse to send someone out to address the issue. I am so disappointed that that I spend so much money on a fridge that we have to defrost every few months. LG, if this is how you treat customers when they need warranty service, then your warranty isn't worth much. BUYERS BEWARE: Think twice before purchasing an LG product. We certainly will not be purchasing another LG appliance after this experience. We expected LG to stand behind its product, and so far, they have failed to do so. If I could I would have rated them with a 0.

  Frigidaire sent L&G out to look at our Professional Series Stand Alone Freezer that was brand new and icing over inside all along the back wall. He came, took off my interior back panel and thawed the compressor as a temporary fix. Informed us he knew if the issue and would contact Frigidaire for a part. We have been ghosted ever since. Countless ignored texts and a voicemail that is always full. The number listed when you get voicemail is a different number than listed in Google, and different than what you actually dialed. Also appears to have not filed anything with Frigidaire as they have no record of him even showing up (which he clearly did). Huge waste of my time and back to square one with a frozen compressor again.

  Very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Fixed our Samsung dryer for a fair price. Would recommend. Update 5/2024.. we've called LeRoy back to work on our builder-grade dishwasher. His repairs last. He's one of the kindest people we've ever met and we highly recommend him. He will call you if you leave your information. He's very busy so be patient. He's worth the wait! We hold on to his number like it's gold.
