I had such an exceptional experience at Star Furniture thanks to Sandy and Salvador. I’m in the process of completely redesigning my living room and was searching for the perfect rug and sofa. From the very beginning, they were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me make the right decisions—not just make a sale.
What impressed me most was how much time they spent educating me about quality, construction, and the different options available. They never rushed me or pressured me. Instead, they worked with me through multiple visits and countless text messages, helping me visualize my space and ensuring every selection aligned with my vision and expectations.
Their level of customer service reminded me exactly why I enjoy shopping at Star Furniture. Sandy and Salvador went above and beyond, and their professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to getting it right made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. Pretty furniture, but my experience with Star Furniture was disappointing.
While we were at the store, the sales associate kept telling us that because we were spending over a certain amount, we qualified for a 20% discount. After adding a few more items, we were told we qualified for a 25% discount. That ended up feeling very misleading.
When I later checked the same items online, buying the items individually showed basically the same pricing. Adding more items online did not unlock any extra discount. However, when I added up the exact same items we purchased in store, with the same type of delivery and taxes included, the total online price was actually lower than what we paid in store.
We also purchased a dining set and were told that half of the chairs would be delivered about a week later. Now, two weeks later, we are being told the remaining chairs will not arrive until September because they are out of stock.
Had we known it would take 3 to 4 months to receive all the chairs, we would not have purchased the dining set this way. It does not make sense to buy a dining table and only have half the chairs for months.
The furniture itself looks nice, but the pricing explanation, communication, and promises made during the sale were very disappointing.
Bought a Mixon Power Power Recliner from Star Furniture Webster and interfaced with Star Furniture Customer Serviceb regarding my issue. Based on this experience, I can honestly state that both Star Furniture Customer Service and Mixon manufacturing are lacking. The recliner I purchased looked 5 years old after two weeks of use. I notified Customer Service and they stated that the picture I supplied reflected normal use and the manufacturer agreed to their assessment. You be the judge.

We were pleasantly surprised how helpful and accommodating our sales person Linda was to work with. She was extremely knowledgeable about their inventory and was a pleasure to work with. Star had a great sale and helped us to maximize savings in getting what we really wanted. I am thrilled with our purchases! Overall we had a great experience.

I went to Star Furniture in Cypress looking for a sideboard that I had seen on-line. I spoke with Sales Manager Amanda Lewis, but after checking, she did not have one in the store that I could see. So she called other stores and found the sideboard at the Katy location. She gave all the information needed to Hasib Zaid, the Manager at Katy. When I arrived at the Katy store I met Hasib who was very prepared, greeted me with my name and took me to the area where the sideboard was. The
sideboard was just what I wanted so I purchased it and Hasib helped me with the financing. It was so easy. Amanda and Hasib worked together to make my dream come true. Thank you, I'm so grateful. Vickie Fogle
