  I had a wonderful experience speaking with Ashley at La-Z-Boy. She was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions with patience and professionalism. Her insight was extremely helpful and made it easy to understand my options. What I appreciated most was that I never felt pressured to make a purchase. Ashley genuinely focused on helping me find what would work best for my needs rather than trying to sell me something.   We purchased a couch and recliner on 09/08/2019 from your LA-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery, which is located at 15905 Katy Freeway Houston, 77094. When we purchased these items, we were assured that leather furniture from LA-Z-Boy is genuine, durable, and would last a long time. While less than six years old, the leather coverings on both the couch and the recliner are peeling off in multiple places. Moreover, the leather is peeling in places that are not subject to wear when in use, such as the side panel of the recliner. I personally visited the location where the furniture was purchased and showed photos of the furniture and the damage to the store manager, who was quite surprised by the damage. The manager suggested I call customer service, which I did, several times, and left many messages without a response. After many attempts I was finally able to reach a person and speak with a customer service representative to explain the situation. The representative informed me that while I indeed had purchased a real leather couch and recliner, LA-Z-Boy’s guarantee for leather lasted for only a single year. I asked what is the reason the leather is pilling if is real, and she said that if she tells me the reason I would get more upset. It seems like they are selling a furniture with the false advertising on TV and the store. For the furniture store this big they should be ashamed to sell consumers such a low quality leather or that is not genuine leather.
