I’ve barley had my until for 4 months before they rose the price by $80. I rented my until for $116 and 4 months later it’s $196. Go the Public Storage they are much better than these rip off folks. I’m ending my lease
- MZMax ZApr 27, 20261.0This is almost criminal! My unit rent just increased from $226 to $306 without any warning. That is the second increase in less than a year! To make matters worse, the light right by my unit has been out for almost the entire time despite multiple visits to the office and requests to get it fixed. For over $300 a month I need a flashlight to see anything in my storage unit. Ridiculous! I’ll be moving my business elsewhere soon.
- JHJason HochmanApr 12, 20264.0The staff are great, they are helpful, and assisted me to negotiate a lower rent. That being said, the company that took over the facility is non responsive and unilaterally changed the contract. Now you can't in after 10 PM (previously 11PM). This is real annoying when you store vehicles there, and either can't get them in the evening, or, if you are out and don't get there by 10, can't return it. Which defeats the entire purpose of storing the vehicle out of the weather and away from prowlers. And I am paying a high premium for that service. They constantly increase the rent, with a facile explanation of "supply and demand" like a junior high student who just read Wealth of Nations. In fact, capitalism is a great idea in theory, but it only works with government propping it up. Also, the facility has had some problems with the gate on the W. 18th Street side not working. But yes, the people who work there are sincere and trying to do all that they can.
