I currently have items stored in a unit here and I visited to add additional items three weeks ago. It was unbearably hot in my unit so I began wondering how hot it typically gets and I revisited to take a reading of the temperature. 90.3 degrees. The website says "typical temperature of a units is between 55-80," and this made me feel my heat-sensitive items would be okay in storage. After seeing the 90.3 temperature inside, my immediate thought was the heat was high because my unit is on the top floor, however, the temperature reading on the first floor was above 84 degrees. Reading back through my contract, I am realizing "climate-cibtrolled" is not what many might think it is. Definitely not what I thought it was and my items have ikely been getting damaged all this time when I believed the climate inside would be better controlled.
