My home AC went out during a Houston summer, so I needed a portable unit quickly while waiting for repairs. A salesman I spoke with offered a promotional first month for $0.01, which I appreciated given the circumstances. Fortunately, my home AC was repaired within two weeks, and I promptly returned the portable unit. When I arrived to return it, I stood at the counter for several minutes while the associate continued a personal phone call before acknowledging me. Once helped, I was told I owed $89. When I asked for clarificationâsince I was within 30 daysâI was told it was because I âhadnât paid for the first month.â The interaction quickly became unpleasant, with the associate making dismissive and accusatory remarks about me ârenting for free.â After several minutes, she consulted a manager, who confirmed I did not owe the $89. Despite this, the associate continued making inappropriate comments, including suggesting I was âmilking their business.â In addition to this, the process of obtaining the unit was already inconvenient. I was initially told the unit was in stock, only to find out it wasnât. I was then directed to multiple locations and ultimately had to drive to Richmond to pick one up, as delivery was not offered. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and unnecessary hostility made this a frustrating experience. I cannot recommend this location based on how this situation was handled.

How long will it take for my item to arrive?
Delivery times vary based on the merchandise selected. The expected delivery time will be displayed during the checkout process. If you have already completed your order, you can find the expected delivery time on the "Aaron's Order Confirmation email".
How will my merchandise be delivered?
Your local store will call you to schedule your free delivery of your merchandise at a time thatâs convenient for you.
Can I track the delivery of my item?
After completing your order, we will send you a confirmation email titled "Aaron's Order Confirmation". At the top of that email is a blue "Track Order" button. If you have additional questions, please contact us at 1-888-333-3785.
Will Aaronâs move my merchandise?
Yes! While you are leasing from Aaronâs we will move your merchandise for you provided you are moving within 15 miles of your current residence.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Aaron's accepts cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards at most locations.
How does Aaron's Low Price Guarantee work?
If you are ever shopping and see that one of our local competitors has a lease to own deal that's lower than Aaron's, we'll be happy to offer our Low Price Guarantee. Our Low Price Guarantee promises that we'll meet or beat any local rent to own competitor's advertised total cost of lease ownership on the same item or we'll give you $100 in cash! â
What is meant by âno credit needed?â
âNo Credit Neededâ means that you donât necessarily need to have any established credit history to be approved for a lease. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores wonât, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
Do I have to have a local store?
Yes, online leasing is not available in all areas. Your delivery address must be within 30 miles of a participating Aaron's store. To find your local store, please visit our Store Locator. Unfortunately, there are a few areas that we are unable to service. We rely on our stores to make your leasing experience personal and reliable. If there is not a store in your area, we could not provide the red-carpet service that you deserve.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But donât forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment).
