    Do not buy the extended leather warranty through Servco. It is a scam. Servco does not honor its warranty terms and La-z-Boy accepts no responsibility for the poor quality of the leather that they used to manufacture their recliners. I paid $6k for two leather recliners and purchased a 5-year extended warranty on both. I now have a chair that the leather color has gone from Redwood to a tan color. Very poor quality and no commitment from La-z-Boy or Servco to solve the problem. Save yourself the frustration and purchase elsewhere. I've bought La-z-Boy products for two decades. Won't be buying ever again due to deterioration in quality of the products and poor customer service.

    We ordered a massive 5 piece sectional with 3 reclining seats. Upon delivery, 2 of the 3 recliners would not open unless the user pulls the bottom out with their hand to engage the reclining mechanism. A repairman acknowledged the issue, but could not fix it. Josh from customer care at the Grapevine location called us days later and advised there would be no fix. Our experience with Josh's customer service has been snide, rude, and dismissive; and he would not provide any options, recourse, or even a phone transfer for further assistance. This couch was over $6,000, with these verified defects upon arrival. We are extremely disappointed, disillusioned, and will never purchase another LayZboy.

    UPDATE on 3/9: The lift chair has now been broken for 6 weeks and I have no idea when it will be repaired. Buyer beware!! Warning against buying a lift chair for someone who truly needs one. We invested $4,000 in a La Z Boy lift chair for my mother, who is in assisted living and relies on it. Broke once within a couple of months due to faulty electrical cord and she was without her one chair for over a week. Broke again in January (3 months later) and took 2 WEEKS to get a service visit. Now we wait 2 more weeks for parts and then still need to schedule for the repair. So likely will be offline for a month total. The store says they don’t do loaners (basically got a shrug as a response), so we get to figure this out ourselves. Cannot believe service is so delayed, and communication is poor (I mostly talk to an answering machine). Very disappointed in service from what is supposed to be a top-notch brand. Really regret this purchase. It was supposed to help and instead has given me more headaches and increased my caregiving burden.

    I would not recommend Lay Z Boy furniture at all. We have a couch with two recliners on each side and a love seat with also two recliners. All have completely broken and the couch is only 4 years old. The same recliner keeps breaking and it’s a real pain to get someone out to fix it.

    STAY AWAY! My new leather recliner has a defect in the cushion. I just got it the end of February. Apparently the customer has to pay $125 plus tax for any tech to come out to do THEIR warranty work. Go down the street to WEIR’s! They have excellent customer service. I had a small nick on my table when it was delivered. They sent someone right out to repair and looked at my leather couch when he was walking out (I bought it there too) and fixed a small issue on the corner. I now know I could have gotten a much higher quality of leather recliner from WEIR’s and excellent customer service without all of the lazy boy headaches. Not worth it.
