There was a MASSIVE miscommunication during the acquisition of this property's previous owner (Grapevine StorageHouse) and Extra Space Storage.
Previous ownership would contact me monthly for payment authorization. I did not hear from them after June 1st 2026. My last payment went through June 6th 2026.
Tried calling and texting several times to check the account balance, no answer.
I called again today to verify my payment was still being processed and finally got an answer.
I learned I owed nearly $500 of BS fees and they were in the process of foreclosing my unit.
The miscommunication and mismanagement of the transfer of ownership should NOT be at the fault of the customer.
Sad the previous owners sold. Mom and Pop storages are much better than these corporate crooks.
I will note, Kalel was nice and professional.
