The store itself is fine, this review is for Lowe's delivery. Have a big project and requested a week off work to do said project. Placed a $1,000+ delivery order that was scheduled and confirmed for delivery on 7/7. Wife and I checked the status numerous times due to previous experiences with Lowe's taking it upon themselves to change the delivery date and not communicate that fact. Check again at 9 pm on 7/6 and wouldn't you know it, our 7/7 delivery has suddenly changed to 7/21. Call Lowe's to figure out what the deal is and they inform us that one single item we had ordered was no longer in stock (even though the payment for said item had already left our bank account). There was no notice of this change. There was no phone call or email saying "So sorry, but this item is out of stock now. Would you like us to deliver the other couple dozen items still?" No, the entire order just automatically got pushed out two weeks. Even if this hadn't been planned and I hadn't already taken a week off of work, that's just absurd. I'm sure this is "the system's fault". We are reasonable people. Things happen. If the janky automated system can't be improved then at least remove its ability to push out a scheduled delivery based on one single item. Or maybe implement a HUMAN review to this kind of circumstance. Some communication would be nice. At minimum, in this situation, it's not unreasonable to expect a minimal amount of communication from a vendor/supplier of any sort. This kind of thing is why companies need to stop trying to push humans out of the workplace and replace them with AI. Lowe's, please raise your communication standards.
UPDATE:
We were told we could switch the order to pick up and go to Granbury to get it. We had to rent a 20' Uhaul in order to transport 16' 2"x10"s. When we got there, manager Ronnie worked with us to make the situation right. He even went as far as covering the cost of the truck rental. The out of stock item was removed from the order, as well as the delivery fee. My wife and I appreciate the effort to correct the situation. They loaded up the truck for us and we were on our way. Thank you Ronnie and Granbury Lowe's team for making it right. Changing 1 star review to 4 after seeing the effort made by Ronnie and his team.

The store is clean offers clean lanes and safe shopping. Getting a little tight in the back areas to get around. Staff are always busy so you could face a little wait in the special service areas like design in the cabinet department you're best to make a appointment. I have been asked if need help or been able to find it and workers have been informative or found who is best to answer me. I enjoy shopping there.

I purchased an icon 52 inch zero turn from the store. My sales person was Trey. I had several delays in getting my mower to the house for delivery. I called several times to the other store that was doing the fulfillment. They kept giving me the runaround about why it wasn’t here yet so I called Trey who sold me the mower. He told me he could do nothing about it. His job was done. I finally got the mower five days later than it was supposed to be. But I had to talk to the assistant manager in the store in Fort Worth
to get this done. I think it’s ridiculous that the person that sold me the mower in the first place wouldn’t even make a phone call to see what the problem was. In my opinion Trey was unprofessional. I wouldn’t let him sell me a paper bag now.
Mind you, everyone else I dealt with from the service desk to the assistant manager was very helpful. My review is solely based on the other store and my Sales person, Trey.
