I was looking for an alternative to my storage unit at my apartment complex and looked online at many locations. Signing up and renting a unit online was a breeze and within minutes I received a call from Jeff welcoming me and explaining a few items! He made sure to explain the basics such as where my unit was, where to park for easiest access! I appreciated his call and helpfulness as it was only a few minutes before the end of his day.

I would not recommend this Extra Space Storage location.
We moved our belongings into a climate-controlled unit on May 28. When we returned on May 31, we tried multiple times to access the unit, but neither door would open. On June 1, we spoke with the manager, Jeff, who told us the access issues were due to power surges.
We specifically paid extra for a climate-controlled unit, but it clearly was not being maintained properly. On June 28, we discovered mold on our furniture, clothing, leather items, children’s belongings, and many other personal possessions. We spoke with Jeff in person on June 29, and he said he was going to turn the air conditioning up. When my husband returned on June 30, he noticed a significant difference in the temperature, raising serious concerns that the unit had not been kept at the proper climate-controlled conditions before then.
To make matters worse, the storage facility’s insurance doesn’t cover mold damage, so we were left with thousands of dollars in damaged belongings.
This has been an incredibly frustrating and expensive experience. We trusted that our possessions would be protected, and instead we’ve had to deal with extensive mold damage and significant financial loss. I would strongly encourage anyone storing valuable or sentimental items to carefully consider another facility.
