Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

Where do I start? On Friday May 1st at about 5pm, we had the absolute PLEASURE of being helped by Elke in the Home Appliance section. She helped us narrow down the best washer and dryer set for our needs (we went with Maytag) and so far we are LOVING it. We also bought a BISSELL ProHeat carpet steamer and the way she trucked it on her back, even after we offered to help her, blew us away. That's what I call going out of your way to provide great customer service. Elke we truly appreciate your help and I also would like to give a shoutout to Mr. Rodney and (I believe the beautiful Black Queen's name was) Mikayla that were back there as well. Mikayla wasted no time greeting us the second we walked into the appliance section and us being brand new to the area, that instantly affirmed we picked a great area to move to. There were two other guys who helped us, I unfortunately didn't get their names -- but moral of the story is this location is full of good warm energy and we will absolutely be back again and again.

“Making Mistakes Has Become the Norm for This Store”
I started checking my receipt after a man made a big scene because he was charged for more items than he actually bought. Today I got into an unpleasant situation with Lowe’s again. They very often either mis-scan items or don’t apply the clearance price. I bought grass that were clearly on clearance, but at the checkout they rang them up at full price. I had to wait 15 minutes for a manager to come and confirm the discount. Last time they charged me for two extra flowers that I didn’t buy. The time before that, something was “miscalculated” again. Every time I have to stand in line to get back $4–5. It seems like a small amount, but if every customer leaves $5 in this store because of such “mistakes,” it adds up to a very nice extra profit for them.

Did an online order for 6 bags of stones and msitakenly selected this order. A store employee called me and we realized I selected the wrong store, I was told "Well I will select it as picked up anyways". 2 hours of calling the stores, no one picks up. Called their national customer service line, thye referred me (after 45 min wait time, back to the store. I did get it finally refunded after 3.5 hours of calls for a $46 order. The mngt line on the store, after 30 minutes being on hold I also gave up. After 15 years only buying at Lowes, I will now gladly spend my money at Home Depot.

I ordered two things on the online order and the location was set for Little Elm. I came to Little Elm and was able to pick up my first order, then found out my other item was in the Frisco location. For some reason, the online order didn’t allow Little Elm location to transfer the order to them from Frisco.
I was told to call to see if I can cancel, the automation system when I called Frisco location told me that the item needed to be removed for the locker so I can cancel. My call was moved to a live associate.
The associate had picked up, I had explained the situation. She put me on hold, every few minutes while on hold, it recalled the store and it was the same associate that seemed very impatient every time she picked up. I was left on hold for over ten minutes just wanting to cancel an order that the Lowe’s app had put my item I had ordered to the Frisco location when it was supposed to be at Little Elm.
The lady on the phone was not pleasant at all and accused me of choosing the Frisco location.
If she didn’t know the about the locker procedure, of why I couldn’t cancel my order, then she could have simply said that.
She told me to cancel, and I explained to her that I’m trying to, but she needs to release the order of the locker to cancel, then she said I can go pick it up. I told her I’d never would want to go into Frisco with that type of service. Now I don’t have guarantee on whether she does her job or not.
Now I’m stuck not receiving a product that I paid for. Very frustrated.

I called again and had spoken to Brittany/Britney(sp?). Definitely night and day with her, amazing and PROFFESIONAL associate that helped me with the return with no hassle. I would give 5 stars for Brittany and her only. I’m going still leaving the 1 star for the poor service of the associate from Tuesday and no follow up from when I posted this review.
