I visited this washateria while traveling in Texas from Japan, and it became one of the best memories of my trip. As many other reviewers have mentioned, this place is extremely clean and well maintained. I wasn’t familiar with how to use the machines or the payment system, but the staff explained everything so kindly and clearly and helped me until my laundry was completely finished. At the end, she even gave me a postcard with a message wishing me a safe journey. I was truly touched by her kindness and hospitality. Thank you so much, Lola, for making a simple laundry stop such a special memory. I will never forget your kindness. With love from Japan.

Speed Queen Laundry – NE 28th St This Speed Queen Laundry location is by far one of the cleanest laundromats I’ve been to. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can immediately tell that the staff takes pride in keeping the facility clean and well-maintained. You’ll consistently see employees staying busy and taking care of the upkeep throughout the location. There are plenty of washers to choose from, ranging from smaller machines to large-capacity washers, along with plenty of dryers to get your clothes finished. They also have folding tables available, making it easy to fold your clothes before heading home. One thing I really appreciate about this location is the amount of space and amenities they provide while you wait. There is plenty of seating, TVs for entertainment, tables with USB charging ports for your phone, and even tablets available for children to keep them entertained. There are trash cans conveniently located throughout the facility, which also helps keep the laundromat clean. The facility also has customer-only restrooms and vending machines if you need a drink or snack while you’re waiting. The business offers wash-and-fold/drop-off services as well, which is a convenient option if you’d rather leave your clothes and return later to pick them up. The location can fluctuate in how busy it is. Mornings tend to be slower, while it definitely gets busier later in the day. If you prefer a quieter experience, I’d recommend coming earlier. I also recommend downloading the Speed Queen Laundry app, which makes paying for your washers and dryers much more convenient. Overall, this location provides a clean, comfortable, and convenient environment with plenty of amenities. Coming here definitely saves me a lot of time, and at the end of the day, time is valuable!
