Lowe’s used to be known for its excellent customer service, but unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case. We purchased a refrigerator less than a week ago and quickly realized how disappointing it was. Despite the appliance being completely unused, Lowe’s refuses to allow us to exchange it for a different model. It’s incredibly frustrating that a company would rather lose a longtime customer than make a reasonable effort to resolve an issue. After this experience, I will no longer be shopping at Lowe’s.

This place has a nice staff, generally a good garden selection compared to Home Depot near by. They have less lumber, but more of a variety, so more for small personal jobs. Their returns policy sucks though, as compared to Home Depot

Would give zero stars if I could. Drove over 20 minutes to get a gas detector I wanted. First issue was the price listed did not match what it rang up as. So I went back to the aisle to take a picture of the price tag as proof. The self checkout cashier (Jennifer) couldn't do the price adjustment because she got locked out of her account trying to help another customer. She called up another cashier (Lydia) to help which took waaaayy too long. I stood at self checkout waiting to get help for 15 minutes. Although, Jennifer was apologic, everything got worst when Lydia showed up.
By this time it was just me and another customer waiting. Lydia walks up and says "I don't know who was here first". I look her right in the eyes and raise my hand and say "I was here first". She looks at me, then Jennifer explains what I need and what the other customer needs. Lydia then proceeds to help the OTHER CUSTOMERS FIRST. By now, I'm livid because not only did I patiently wait 20 mins, I was forced to wait again because Lydia decided to ignore me and help the other guest first. When I called her out on it, she claimed she "didn't hear me". Oh please. Not only did I verbally tell you I was there first, I also RAISED MY HAND AND YOU LOOKED RIGHT AT ME!!!!! What other signals did you need. Original artwork?!! I was so upset, I left the items I was going to get and left.
I did go back in the store and asked for the manager but got the run around from the staff (Beatriz) and waited another 10 minutes for him to not show up. Don't even think they called the man. Just told me a story. Needless to say this interaction ruined my night. I just wanted to be in and out. I was willing to give grace to Jennifer because she literally couldn't correct the price due to tech issues but Lydia (and the Beatriz in customer service who didn't actually call the manager) will not get pass. Horrible customer service.
Cancelling my rewards account and never shopping at Lowes again. Will take my business to Home Depot from now on. Pissed is an understatement.
