I had an excellent experience with this pest control company. Their technician was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the treatment process, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was done thoroughly. Since the service, I’ve noticed a significant improvement, and it’s clear they take pride in the quality of their work. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish, and scheduling was quick and easy. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and effective pest control services. They definitely earned a 5-star review! Thank you Masi

The price paid is per session on a 2 year contract. I receive a text to remind me of the service a few days in advance. Then another text between 30-60 min before arrival, asking if I have noticed any unusual pest activity they need to address. I don’t need to be home unless I require any indoor treatment. And if I see anything that needs more attention before the next treatment schedule, I contact them and they return free of charge. After they finish treating the property, I receive several photos of what they treated. Damond was very helpful and his text even made it personalized / just with a small tidbit about himself. That shows it is not always a rote generated text! He was great today.

I recently changed to Aptive from another pest control service and wholeheartedly regret my decision. The first visit they made was fine except that I had a major aphid and ant infestation that were not addressed. I called customer care and they said they would send someone out the next day, which was important because I was leaving town the day after for several weeks and I wanted to be home to show the technician where the the problems were. Nobody showed up. I received a phone call late that evening stating that I needed to reschedule. I expressed my disappointment and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told they were busy and they would call me back. I never received a call. While I was out of town, I received an automated message with a new appointment date which was while I was still out of town. There was no mention of my previous issue. I had to stop what I was doing (while on vacation in Europe) to call and say the proposed date doesn’t work. A few days after arriving home, I received a text messsge with another date. On that day I received another text message directly from the technician around 12:30pm stating he was on his way and asked if I had any specific concerns he could address. I responded that I was not home but gave very specific concerns regarding ants, aphids, and an influx of bugs in my workshop. I described the locations of the problems. At 1:48pm the tech messaged me that he had arrived and at at 2:03pm he messaged me that he was finished. Assuming it takes a few minutes to set up and a few minutes to break down, the technician spent approximately 10 minutes on my property. In that 10 minutes the technician said he treated the exterior of my residence and a 30x50’ shop building as well as cleaning cobwebs from all the eaves and “freshening up my mosquito traps” and spraying the front and back yards for mosquitoes. All in 10 minutes?!? The mosquito traps that were given to me on their first visit were sitting on my shop floor and never deployed making them impossible to “freshen up.” I asked him about the ants and aphids with his response being, “where are the anthills” and “I put granules out for the aphids.” I would assume that a professional pest control operator would know that aphids eat plant material and are not attracted to, nor consume, “granules” and that they have to be sprayed with insecticide. It was clear to me that the tech did not read my text describing where the ants were and that he was either very poorly trained and/or didn’t know what he was doing. I then received a text from him asking that I give him a 10 out of 10 rating for his service!?! An hour later I got an email with an invoice for $140.00. I signed a 2 year contract and to stop service will cost me a $250 cancellation fee, which at this point I’m going to just pay so I can try to find another company. I can’t imagine any other pest control outfit providing worse customer service than Aptive. I have half a mind to reach out to the Better Business Bureau. BUYER BEWARE!!!

This was the worst experience I have had with any pest control company I have used. From them canceling appointments, to the people that came to my house to service in their FLIP FLOPS. I do not recommend. I had 4 different tech out to my house to take care of an interior bug problem, each time, none of them knew why they were at my house, did not have the proper equipment to address our concerns, and just wanted to tell my husband and I how tired they all were. The third gentlemen that came, serviced my house in his flip flops because his boots got wet. When I called the local office to speak to Jeremy, he was no where to be found and I never received a call back. We were supposed to receive service every two weeks for 3 months to contain the bug problem. And due to them canceling our appointments repeatedly with our notice to us, and not having anyone “available” to service we canceled. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are looking for quick stops during their day and have no idea what customer service really is. The third party answering service that they use on the other side of the world, is not much help.

I was invaded with ants in my yard. One large ant bed made it look a horror movie. The ground around it looked like it was moving without the inability to tell what was causing it too move. That was due to the numbers in the bed. They sprayed and put down some granules. It did kill many of them. I'm not sure why they ask for a review before you can actually see how the product works for eliminating the insects. I don't call on contact killing exterminating. I can contact kill the ants with boiling water; therefore, on contact killing pretty much means nothing regarding longterm control. Two of the ant beds still have active ants. Only time will tell if the product works besides the contact kill off. They ask you to sign a contract. I honestly don't like that part. The monthly fee is less that the initial treatment. They give you three days to cancel, but they say give it a week to see if the ants are gone. If the product doesn't work after seven days, the three days allowed to exit the agreement has expired, and there is a $199 exit fee if you don't fufill the contract length. There is no way to provide a product review, at this time. However, the sales people who came to the door were nice and informative. The application provider was nice, and he completed the service well, as far as I can tell. There are no complaints about the service provided. The longterm effectiveness of the products is undetermined at this time. The 4 stars is because the exit time of the agreement expires before you can really tell if the products work. They did say they would return if the insects returned. The mosquitoe control method is odd. They use a bait type bucket that hangs on my fence. Who knows if that works, we will see. That service is little pricey as an add on, in my opinion. This review is being completed the following morning after the first application. Therefore, the longterm service with the company and product satisfaction cannot be reviewed ar this time.
