Very disappointing experience with Lowe’s. A simple delivery turned into two hours of wasted time trying to fix a problem that should never have happened.
Last Saturday, I placed an order for delivery to my home specifically for today, Saturday. I was very clear about the delivery date because Saturday is the only day someone is available at my home to receive the order. Catalina, the employee who assisted me, assured me that she would make sure the order was scheduled for delivery today.
Unfortunately, when the delivery arrived, only about half of my order was delivered. The person delivering the materials could not explain what had happened and simply told me to contact the store. I called Lowe’s, but I was given no real explanation either. I was told that the rest of my materials would be delivered on Monday — two days later than the date I specifically requested.
After reviewing the order myself, I discovered an even bigger problem: the order had been entered incorrectly. The square footage of tile I needed was not entered correctly, which resulted in an incomplete order.
I had no choice but to drive back to the store to address the situation. Coincidentally, Catalina was there. When I explained that the order had been entered incorrectly, I was very disappointed by the way the situation was handled. Instead of immediately acknowledging the mistake and apologizing for the inconvenience, I received an attitude that made an already frustrating situation even worse.
Thankfully, a supervisor named Isaiah stepped in and helped resolve the problem. I appreciate his help, but it should not have taken a supervisor and a trip back to the store to correct an order that was entered incorrectly in the first place.
Mistakes happen. What matters is how you take responsibility for them and how you treat the customer afterward. In my experience, Lowe’s failed on both.
I lost approximately two hours of my time because of an error that was not mine, and the entire situation could have been avoided with better attention to detail and better customer service.
I hope Lowe’s management reviews what happened and takes this seriously. Customers should be able to trust that their orders are entered correctly, delivered on the date they were promised, and that when something goes wrong, the customer will be treated with professionalism and respect.

Never get anything installed from Lowe's. Untrained subcontractor's and Lowe's disavows all responsibility. They turn it over to their unqualified subcontractor to self investigate. Shockingly, their own unqualified subcontractor found no legal responsibility.

Never have Lowe's install anything. Lowe's turned me over to Spirit Logistics Network for them to investigate themselves about their own unqualified installers. Check out the reviews of Spirit Logistics and never get anything installed from Lowe's...... Lowe's claims no responsibility for the untrained subcontractor's they hire to do their installation. If a product needs installation go with COSTCO, SAM's, or find your own installer...and no, Lowe's doesn't want to make it right.
