- DCdeborah castanedaJun 21, 20261.0I visited Hobby Lobby yesterday and was disappointed by the customer service. While I was standing in the artificial vine section, I asked an employee if the store carried smaller artificial vines and even showed him some of the vines that were already on display. Instead of helping me look or checking whether there were smaller options nearby, he briefly stopped swiping, looked at me, and said, "I don't know, ma'am. Yeah, I don't know." He immediately went back to what he was doing. His facial expressions and body language made it seem like helping a customer was an inconvenience. Later, I asked another employee walking by if the store carried mats. He didn't stop walking, didn't make eye contact, and simply replied, "Nah, we don't have them." I continued shopping on my own and ended up finding the mats myself. I understand employees can be busy, but I expect basic customer service, especially when asking simple questions in the department where the products are located. A little effort, courtesy, and willingness to help would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, both interactions left me feeling ignored and unwelcome. Ill probably go somewhere else to shop in the future and not make a long trip to that store for bad customer service.
