  Completely unacceptable behavior by their delivery driver with glasses named Corey with glasses he delivers a couch with cat piss on it and didn’t even try to come back after I was calling him he was driving off with a vape in his hand

  Rent-A-Center is straight garbage and I would never recommend this place to anyone. The female manager at the Denton, TX store off University Drive is an absolute joke. She has zero education, zero people skills, and is incredibly disrespectful. When I tried to handle an issue, she literally had the nerve to tell me "you're not a customer." ​To make it worse, when I brought up how trash her behavior was, the rest of the customer service staff just tried to cover for her and give me a million excuses for her awful attitude. It's pathetic. The whole staff lacks common sense and professionalism. If you want to be insulted by an uneducated manager and then have her team make excuses for her toxic behavior, this is the place to go. Corporate needs to clean house at this location immediately. Stay far away.

  When I walked in I was not greeted. I saw a worker on the phone he never acknowledged me. I just walked around for about 10 minutes before being greeted or acknowledged. I already new what I wanted. He offered to show it to me but, then answered the phone and I thought he was writing up what they needed. He was not he was preparing my paper work while on phone with another customer while I waited. When he was finished on phone he talked me through the contract. Forgetting to show me the furniture I was purchasing even though it was pre-leased. I never saw it before delivery day. The gentleman was pleasant, just not very professional. I asked about needing a foundation for the type of bed and mattress I leased I was told I did not need one. I got a call the day of delivery that I did however need a foundation si I had to add to my lease the foundation I had already had asked about. Just very disappointed in the knowledge and professionalism of the sales team.

  I absolutely love the customer service and how much the employees work to help the customers! Shout out to Allan for going above and beyond to help me and my kids get an amazing couch!!

  Horrible customer service and an extremely disappointing experience. I tried to lease furniture through this company twice, and both experiences were frustrating and unacceptable. Both times, they attempted to charge me a late fee on the actual due date simply because my card was locked. Instead of helping resolve the issue, I felt like they were looking for ways to add extra charges. I was also pressured into accepting used furniture because I was told it would be cheaper. That turned out to be misleading. The items were heavily damaged and nowhere near worth the amount they were asking. I felt completely misled and disrespected as a customer. After dealing with this location, I decided to go to a furniture store instead and found much better options, better pricing, and far superior customer service. Don't be afraid to apply through a reputable furniture store. You'll likely receive more assistance, more financing options, and be treated with the respect customers deserve. I will not be returning to this location and would not recommend it based on my experience. I also have proof and screenshot of every time this happened because they lie just to get you in. And the truth comes out later don't over spend on this stuff because you think you don't have other options 🙏🏾
