- BGBeatriz Fernández GarcíaMay 8, 20261.0I went to Hobby Lobby tonight just to buy one item, and the lady at the entrance yelled at me saying the store was closing in 20 minutes. I completely understand store policies because I work in retail, but the way she spoke to me was very rude and unnecessary. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, even close to closing time. Very disappointing experience.

I stopped in to ask about a product that hadn’t arrived yet, and when I asked the associate at the front if she could check on when it might come in, she was willing to help and even started to call someone who could provide an answer. However, another employee near the front interrupted her and told her not to “do anything extra” for me. This happened more than once, and I was ultimately told to just call back every day and ask myself. The associate who was helping me seemed willing to go the extra mile, but was repeatedly shut down. It came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Customer service shouldn’t feel like an inconvenience to the staff. I hope management takes a closer look at how customers are being treated at this location.
