We started moving stuff out of my unit due to the price increasing upon moving out all of my belongings we noticed all of the boxes we stored in the unit had rat feces and they ate threw all the boxes and messed up all of my things. Not only that water got all in my unit and everything was destroyed at the bottom of certain things there was mold. The water has discolored some of my furniture. Things were taken from my unit it has just been a HORRIBLE experience here and it is truly heartbreaking. I trusted my belongings to be kept safe here and the storage company failed to do so.

At this moment I cannot recommend the climate controlled units whatsoever. They charge a premium for zero climate control, and the indoor facility is growing dirtier by the day.
The air conditioner unit filter hasn't been changed in ages, which is irrelevant, because I genuinely don't think it runs. It is hotter inside of the climate controlled unit than it was in an external unit we rent. Everything inside of our unit is hot to the touch, or at the very least warm. My backyard shed isn't that warm. And if that single unit in there IS actually on and supposed to be cooling, change the filter, and consider installing a second unit. Ridiculous. We pay you enough, you can absolutely afford it.
This property used to be owned by a different company, and was better then. The window unit that was practically taped to the top of the warehouse kept it cooler than it is now.
I have other issues, but for now the biggest issue is that they're offering climate control prices with outdoor temperatures. Your items are not safe, it they're heat sensitive, so consider somewhere else. They're taking advantage of us.
I will update this review if I sense there's a change, but until then I wholly recommend avoiding Extra Space Storage on FM76.
