    Do not use! Awful billing practices since the original owners sold to Sparebox. I'm currently paying $348/mo for what is advertised at $230/mo online because "the rates automatically increases every few months, that's just for new people" as I was just told my customer service. When asked if I can just cancel and rent a new unit? "Yes, you can do that." So why don't we not and just say we did? Adjust the price so you pay what you see online; if it needs to go up, fine, raise it for both? "No we can't do that". Charging your existing, long-term customers more than new people. Terrible and dumb. Long-term laziness on moving out -is- your profit maker! Will be gone and down to $0 just as soon as I can get a truck.

    This Reveiw is for the SpareBox off of Wellborn rd college station Texas. This is for the horrible lack of customer service that has been a repeated pattern with this company, the “customer service agents” on the phone—awful experiences every time! Let’s start with the most recent today. SpareBox sends me a email stating to log in and Reveiw. I log in. It says email does not exist. Yet it works each time that bill is due lol. I take off work to call in to see what’s going on and the first agent named BRENTON was very rude and over talked me the entire time, and said basically oh well just deal with it there’s nothing we can do. I asked do you know when it may be fixed? He said nope. He was rude and dismissive so I kindly requested a supervisor and he said they’ll just say they’ll same thing, I said as a supervisor regardless I’m requesting to speak to one, he got so rude and I said sir I’m recording this call he said so am I, I said no worries I’ll send this to the corporate department and the better business bureau and will request them to pull the call in forwarding to them and to have you trained better in customer service and kindness or be terminated. Literally at this point, I have ZERO TRUST with this place! Unfortunately I have to call back again to go through the whole process to speak to a supervisor this time I get agent named JONATHON who refused to let me talk to a supervisor without me, telling him exactly what it was about, I told him it is Personal. I would like the supervisor know and he refused to get one. As soon as I told him, it’s about the misconduct of one of the agents here and I’m recording the call, oh his tune changed REALLY FAST! Then he said hold on. Let me see if I can find a Supervisor. After being placed on hold for 15 minutes, he comes back and says I have Supervisor MARK on the phone for you, and then while waiting for MARK to introduce himself instead, he hung up! This is not the first time me and my family have encountered HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES WITH THIS PLACE! We are ending our leases ASAP! Plus they’ll add another $25 to your account quietly so pay attention to your bill! All of my friends and family listen to them while I recorded the call and they were on speakerphone and everybody is ending their lease with spare box just because of the way they treated me and others! Customer service services everything no matter if you’re in a hospital or if you’re at a restaurant. Empathy, compassion, and kindness and going above and beyond is of upmost importance and this company, I do not recommend anybody! We do not trust them, they have spoken to children and elderly people and disabled people like this as well, and I am not supporting a business like that! They should do us all a favor and close their doors!!! I’m sending the recorded calls and getting permission for the News cast and the Better Business Beauru to do a thorough investigation. This place needs to do us a favor and just shut the doors. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! If y’all are reading this - DO BETTER!

    Nass assisted me in closing out our storage unit. She was very helpful and courteous. We have been pleased with Sparebox’ customer service. Although the rate increases motivated us to close the unit, we had intended to downsize and close unit anyway and would use Sparebox again in the future if needed. Overall highly recommend

How do I rent a unit?

We offer three simple ways to rent a unit: On our website: You may filter through our locations to browse available units. You may also create your reservation and process your move in, all conveniently online! On location: All our locations (excluding SpareBox 0016 and SpareBox 0019) have a 24-hour on-site rental center with an easy-to-use kiosk. The kiosk will present all unit availability for the facility, and you easily create your reservation or move right in! With customer service: If you need assistance, please call (833) 777-7273 and one of our customer service team members will be happy to assist you in finding the right unit.

How do I set up my online account?

From the home page, click the red Register button in the upper right-hand corner: Select your state. Select your facility location. Enter your last name and unit number, exactly as they appear on your invoice or receipts. Note: Be sure to include any prefixed 0’s, or if you are in an accessible unit, be sure to include “ADA” after your unit number. After entering your last name and unit number, you will be prompted to set a password and a security question for your account.
