Yeah, experience was OK. The good side I was able to check in but check in by myself, but there seems to be you know kind of a lack of an attendant there and the parking is a bit weird you know there’s only one tiny front area to get access to the main building and then if the attendance is rarely at their desk, then you can’t really go in the front, which is the front seat kind of small anyway but just the point of it is there’s mostly one way in. It’s pretty crowded and.

I had such a wonderful experience with Extra Space Storage! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was amazing. Paul went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, and I truly appreciate his kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help.

I recently switched to this storage facility, and the experience has been great so far.
When I came in for a tour, Paul took the time to answer all of my questions and showed me multiple unit options so I could find the right fit. The facility is clean, appears to be pest-free, and feels much more secure than the previous storage facility I was using.
I also appreciated his transparency about pricing. He let me know upfront that rates typically increase after the first three months, so there won’t be any surprises down the road.
The day of my move, my movers didn’t completely clear out my old storage unit as planned, so the locks I intended to reuse were still on my old unit. Since I had originally asked Paul to refund the lock I purchased when I rented the new unit, I explained what happened. He had no problem putting the locks back on my account, replacing the keys he had already removed, and then met with my movers while I took care of the old storage unit. It made a stressful moving day much easier.
Throughout the entire process, Paul was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. He never made me feel like I was bothering him, even with all my questions. After calling and visiting several storage facilities where no one answered the phone or was available on-site, it was refreshing to work with someone who was accessible and cared about providing good customer service.
If you’re looking for a clean, secure facility with excellent customer service, I’d definitely recommend this place.

This is my third time renting a unit at Extra Space storage at three different locations in the Austin area (the first time was LifeStorage, owned by Extra Space), and each time I’ve needed storage I’ve shopped around and compared all my options. I only realized it was consistently the same company I’d chosen when I was assigned my access code and realized it was the same I’d had before.
All of the facilities have been clean, I’ve never had access or facility maintenance issues, and no security concerns. This location on 71 is exceptionally clean (even smells nice??) and it’s well laid-out from parking lot -> elevators -> units, making moves as easy as possible.
Paul, the site manager here, was transparent about his experience managing this site for the past 2 years, and spent as much time as I needed to have all my questions answered without ever feeling rushed or pressured.
Competitive pricing, I would just recommend pre-paying for as long as you can (at any place you rent a unit) to lock in your rate for that duration of time.

They're worth the time and effort with the time and effort they put into me and my family's belongings! Paul has been my main point of contact, always taking my calls promptly, always professional, and always kind and thoughtful. They let me know when things are going on with the storage, whether I've received my packages, answering all my questions until I've got all the information I need. He's definitely patient and knowledgeable! They keep the facility clean & neat. Access is easy for people who are storing things and very secure to keep out random looting. I can't say enough about the quality of service we get with Paul & Extra Space Storage.
