- JPJason Pender2 days ago2.0I went to buy a craftsman tool chest. They only had one of the kind I wanted. They could not find the key to open the bottom section. They offered a discount and said I could have a key made. I didn’t want to spend almost 800.00 and have to have a key made. I asked if they would give me a discount on the model that was a 100.00 more. They said no nothing was wrong with that one. So let an 800.00 sale walk out the door without trying anything to keep my business. I guess I’ll go somewhere else to spend 800.00 plus all of the rest of the money I usually spend at Lowes

The sales associate we worked with was rude, dismissive, and came across more irritated than helpful. Instead of taking the time to explain things in an educational way, she repeatedly told us certain items had to be purchased for installation without clearly explaining why. The whole interaction felt very demeaning, especially when we were simply trying to understand the process and make the right decision for a major purchase. We came in looking for guidance and left feeling frustrated and unheard without an appliance. Customer service should feel helpful and informative, not dismissive.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
