  I just purchased two 30” x 40” shadow boxes, priced at $70 each, from this location. Unlike many other frames in the store, these particular shadow boxes are never included in the 50% off frame sales, so I was already paying full price. Unfortunately, both items had noticeable scuffs on them. While the damage wasn’t severe, it was enough for me to respectfully ask if an additional discount could be applied due to the condition of the merchandise. Store manager Lizbeth acknowledged that the frames were, in fact, scuffed but declined my request, stating that they were “not scuffed enough for a discount.” I understand that stores have policies and pricing guidelines, and I recognize that the products may already be competitively priced. However, I found it disappointing that there was no willingness to offer any accommodation on items that were admittedly not in perfect condition. That level of customer service was surprising, and I have a hard time believing that refusing to discount acknowledged defective merchandise aligns with Hobby Lobby’s overall customer service standards or corporate philosophy. This experience left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I hope management will consider providing employees with more flexibility to resolve situations like this in a way that prioritizes customer satisfaction and goodwill.

  I'm a frequent Hobby Lobby shopper, but this last week was my first time at this location and I was not disappointed. The selections were vast and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

  I try my best not to shop at Hobby Lobby, but today I couldn’t avoid it. I really wish I would’ve skipped. Shopping with kids is hard enough, and every mom goes through a checkout line meltdown at some point, but the absolute lack of tact in management is astonishing. The cashier was very helpful and did a wonderful job, but the manager apparently had plenty to say when I was out of the store and out of earshot. Luckily, my sister was behind me in line and was able to stand up for me when I wasn’t there to do it myself. If I would’ve overheard, I would’ve left the entire cart for her to put back and made do elsewhere. Long live Joann’s and to hell with hobby lobby. Shameful.

  I have been a customer to this store for a long time and never in my life would imagine witnessing something so humiliating. The general manager speaking very poorly, without manners, and very poorly with a high tone of voice to one supervisor, and the worst part was that she did it in front of a lot of us customers.The supervisor seemed like she wanted to cry while the general manager was using her power to humiliate her. I came home and felt horrible of not speaking at the specific moment, I hope upper management does something regarding the people they hire to be in charge because working for someone under those conditions must be horrific. I thought hobby lobby was a better place to work but this scene proved otherwise. This incident happened 01/12/26 at around 1:10pm.
