I went to this store on May 2nd, 2026 in search for a wash tower because my current washer had quit working a few days prior. I have shopped here for years, although it is typically for bigger, must have items because their prices are steep and their interest is ridiculous. I have always been a Lowes shopper because that is the store closest to where I live. I work full time and im often very busy m-f, and dont want to take vacation time to have big items delivered to my house, if I can help it. Having a delivery option is good for older folks, or those that have no means of moving big items, so I understand the store having that option and promoting it.....however, WHAT is THE POINT IN HAVING A STORE FRONT if your employees direct everyone, even those that want to purchase in store, and need something immediately, to purchase online?!?!? On this particular day, my mom, brother, and dad both offered to help me move the new and old washer and dryers. So when we got to Lowes, yes, we were greeted by ALL the employees standing around chatting with eachother....however the first guy who waited on us proceeded to just laugh at us and explain that they didn't have any wash towers in stock at the store. He did not bother to use his computer system to check or go to the back to check, not 1 time. He just explained that they only have limited stock for appliances because of the store having no space..... which is a lie because I saw several huge shelves and huge product areas completely empty, where the store could have stocked 10 wash towers if they wanted.....now I understand not having 10 but, IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING ON DISPLAY IN YOUR STOREFRONT, YOU SHOULD AT LEAST HAVE ONE OF THAT ITEM IN STOCK. Anyway, my family and I were set on walking out of the store and leaving. We were going to go to other stores. In greensboro or go to Home Depot and see what was available because I needed a washer asap. I needed to be able to wash clothes for my upcoming work week. As we were calling other stores, we finally met a helpful worker, named David, who came to talk to us and we explained what we were wanting. And he looked in the computer system and found something similar. Lo and behold, It was an LG wash tower, which was very similar to the whirlpool wash tower that I initially wanted. The only difference was a higher price tag. But I happily paid over $400 more, because I wanted to walk away with a washer, dryer combo the day of, and I wanted my family to help install it in my house, when we were all off work. If the second helpful co-worker had not come along. Lowe's would have lost out on a $2400 sale and then another $400 sale for other laundry room needs. *******Lowe's, please stop directing your employees to push delivery and online purchasing at the store front. People come to the store to walk away with items, because they need them. I used delivery for my refrigerator and had an okay experience earlier in the year, however, I did have to take time off work and it was a hassle to go through the work week without having a refrigerator.

Tanya and Bree in the Garden center were incredible. Stacking 30lb pavers like it was nothing. Got me in and out on a very busy Saturday and I really appreciated it.
