How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?

You’ll receive an email with pickup instructions and the location of the store you selected when your order is ready. You can pick up your order during store operating hours at the designated pickup area. Just provide the order confirmation email or order number with your photo ID (state driver’s license, military ID or state ID). For your protection, only the cardholder or an authorized user of the credit card may pick up the order.

How do I return or exchange an item?

Most (but not all) items can be returned within 90 days. If you bought something from Lowes.com, you can start a return online in your Order History before shipping it back to us. For in-store returns, you’ll be asked to provide proof of purchase at the customer service desk. The return barcode for the order works, too, and can be found on your Order Details page.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.

I had one of the most frustrating shopping experiences here. I came in to buy a few small hex bolts, nuts, and washers—about $2 worth of hardware. The store forces customers to use self-checkout, but none of the hardware has a barcode. Instead, you're expected to enter a three-digit code printed on the tiny parts. The problem? The print is so small I couldn't even read it, and the store is so dimly lit that it made it even worse. Even the employees at the self-checkout and regular checkout couldn't read the code. After wasting 25 minutes just trying to pay $2.14, we finally figured it out. The store is disorganized, no one seems to know what's going on or where anything is, and something that should have taken two minutes turned into a 25-minute ordeal. Thankfully, I only had to spend $2.14, so they're not going to miss my business—but they definitely lost a customer. I won't be coming back.

My husband stopped by the Lowes store on June 26th at 3:52 p.m. register 14. Upon entering the store he encountered a worker and informed her that he had a return. She rolled her eyes and walked away, heading to the register. My husband followed her over and she began the return. Before the transaction was completed, he let her know that he was also picking up an order in which she snapped "One thing at a time!" When the return was done, my husband did not receive any assistance or direction to remove it from the cart. The order was placed on the already returned items, still in the cart. He asked if he should remove the underlayment that he returned and use another cart for the trim and she said "I don't know, do what you gotta do" in a snarky tone. He then said as he was getting ready to leave, she was helping another customer and her tone did a total 180. It's disappointing that we have spoken to several employees recently for our flooring project who have all been so wonderful and then to encounter someone who was so rude right off the bat.

This is a new Lowe’s location in the growing Tradition area of Port St. Lucie. The employees are trying very much to be helpful while at the same time, some are learning the store layout. All in all a good shopping experience!

We had 10% discount coupon that applied to certain items. It doesn't say which items it applies to. We intentionally ran a bill to exceed $550 to get the full $50 Maximum. At checkout it only applied $20 off in lieu of the $50 we expected. Coupons like these should say which item they apply to. Another good customer rip off scheme by Lowes.
