  Dr. Allison Hughes literally changed my life. I've been wearing hearing aids for more than 15 years. I met Dr. Hughes when my insurer changed from HearUSA to TruHearing. That change led me to Allison. I went in for new hearing aids. She gave me a hearing test and told me that the air-bone gap in my left ear was much too large (basically- that's not good). None of my previous audiologists had informed of that, and it wasn't a new condition. She advised me to see an ENT doctor. I followed her advice. After a CT scan, I was advised to have a procedure done. Well, it eliminated the air-bone gap completely. My hearing is drastically improved. Thank you, Dr. Hughes!!!!

  Nicely organized, clean office and facilities. Office staff was excellent. Dr. Hughes was outstanding in her knowledge and expertise. She helped me to understand my specific hearing issues in ways I had never understood before. I will recommend her practice to anyone in need of her specific intervention.

  The hearing test (and the explanation of the results) were done in a very professional and friendly manner. I would surely suggest going to Troast Hearing Center in Ridgewood to my neighbors and relatives.
