I don't write reviews, but I wanted to share the most bizarre experience at the store in West Ocean City Md. All I wanted was a bottle of fish oil, and they had only 60 quantity, and I wanted a larger bottle of maybe 100. The clerk made me the deal of the day, buy 1, get another 1/2 price. Great! They only had 3, and would mail me the 4th. Also he threw in 10% off the whole sale! Do the math... $35 per bottle x 2= $70. 2 @ $17.50 = $35 for a total of $140. Take 10% off ($14)= $126. My total charge somehow came to $135, because there was a $40 charge in there for the (discount?). After an explanation that I was actually getting an additional $10 from somewhere (?) I said that I will simply take one for now, then get more at Walmart, when the "Counter Bully" told me to get it all from Walmart. I verified that he would not sell me any now, and he replied he "Could refuse service to whomever he pleased". I was also told that I wasn't listening and didn't understand the supposed discount. I left with him shouting across the store that people like me just don't get it. The taste in my mouth is still as if I chewed a fish oil capsule before swallowing. Never again, and I see many similar reviews. I was there 7/14 /26 around 1pm.

I constantly feel bullied by Dave. The so called manager behind the counter. Doesn't take no for answer insisted on signing me up six months early for pro , even though I said I wasn't interested and had six months left. I came in for a case of lit product every month for years at this location, and he does not stop and then when I tell him how he's making me feel , he becomes aggressive with me and bands me from the store. Bring back Justin, he was kind considerate helpful. If you think my experience is one time a current read the recent reviews, it is very clear. He is extremely unprofessional.
The manger is absolutely rude. has no respect for any other person that is alive and walking, he treats everyone with anger and acts like he hates the world. i recently went into the store and i was confused about an purchase and he absolutely lost his ever living mind and screamed at me to the top of his lungs. he shouldn’t be allowed to work in a facility where people come in and are supposed to ask questions.
I went to the shop today to ask about a medicine. The shop was closed for 15 minutes, so as my wife was away, I waited outside. When the staff member opened the shop, they hurled every insult imaginable at me, staring me in the face and muttering things like, ‘Why did you wait? Isn’t there anywhere else?’
I’ve never witnessed such disgrace; a representative of such a reputable company really shouldn’t be such a rude person.

I had a great experience at this GNC location thanks to the manager, Collin. From the moment I walked in, he was genuine and straightforward. He didn’t try to push every product on the shelf or give me a sales pitch — he kept it real.
He understood how expensive supplements can be and actually broke down the value of different options. For example, when we talked about creatine, he explained which one he would personally choose based on serving size and price, regardless of brand. That honesty goes a long way.
I’ve been lifting for years, so I can usually tell when someone knows what they’re talking about — and he absolutely did. He’s clearly a gym guy himself and was spot on about product quality, taste, and how flavors actually compare to what’s advertised. He also made sure I got the best deals available and kept the whole experience simple and easy.
It’s refreshing to deal with someone knowledgeable who cares more about giving solid advice than just making a sale. I’ll definitely be back because of him
