- CSCaron SchwartzOct 1, 20265.0As a woman of a certain age I have Silver Sneakers and memberships with every gym that honors it. I can't explain why YouFit was not on my radar until my partner came home and told me that he had had a marvelous workout with a trainer named Josh. So I took myself to YouFit and requested Josh as a trainer. He immediately understood my limitations and my goals. We have been working out together for almost a year and I am amazed at my progress! I've lost enough weight for friends to take notice and want to know my secret. Plus I love showing off what I call my Michelle Obama arms. I have worked out with many trainers over the years and have never experienced the level of personalization that Josh offers.
- LGLeonard GuckenheimerOct 1, 20265.0I'm in my 70s and began training with Josh Rothman almost a year ago. Before startin with Josh, I was recovering from a right should rotator cuff tear. I injured my shoulder by exercising with very bad form. My right shoulder had very limited range-of-motion and was extremely weak. Also, I have old, arthretic knees, and some balance issues. Josh has been working with me to improve my right shoulder range-of-motion and strength. Josh tailors the exercise for my needs, and he demonstrates the exercise. He carefully watches and corrects how I'm exercising so that I have proper form. Proper form to prevent injury is the most important thing for Josh. He also explains the purpose of the exercise and how what part of the body it is working. He is very patient and has a wacky sense of humor. I now have full range-of-motion in my right shoulder and recovered my arm strength. My overall strength, flexibilty, and balance have greatly improve. My partner also trains with Josh. She says that he is better than any physical therapist she has every had.
