The store is very clean. Shannon was super friendly and helpful. She took the time to look over frames with my daughter and go over the different type of lens and which one would be best for my daughters age. 10/10 recommended. These aren’t the first pair of glasses we are purchasing from this store/ location but I will do a follow up with pictures and how they came out.

I visited the Christiana Mall Store this afternoon. As usual, the inventory was terrific! I selected several styles and narrowed down to one style. I worked with Salina, she was understanding when I remembered I'd left my new prescription at home. She suggested I call my eye doctor's office to request they fax my prescription to the LC store. We received the prescription in about 5 minutes...extra trip AVOIDED!! Salina understood my concern over the cost of my glasses and went above and beyond to help me review options for insurance coverage, store promotions and even my health insurance coverage (since I have a medical condition with my eyes). I really appreciated the time she took to review the options. I have been a customer of LensCrafters for over 20 years. I am very pleased with the Customer Service I received today!!

I went in specifically to purchase glasses with my new prescription. I had already used my insurance early in the year, so I was paying out of pocket. They had a 40% off promotion going on with brand name glasses. Salina is the rep who helped me, she was very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. She walked me through it the entire process. She gets 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!! Thank you so much for making my time spent there easy and comfortable!

Unprofessional behaviour : on April 8th I brought my daughter in at 5:15 p.m. for an eye appointment and chose the dilated exam. The doctor handed me a prescription, took $25, and sent an agent to help us pick frames—without re-examining my daughter. When I asked if another check was needed, she said yes, which surprised me since she hadn’t mentioned it before taking payment.
She called me back ,my colleague called me in between; I asked my team mate to call again and ended the call. She then ushered my daughter down, rushed out, and said “Good night.” I asked if the exam had actually happened, and she snapped that I had no etiquette for being on the phone. I was so shocked I could barely believe how blunt and impatient she was.
After I composed myself, I told reception the exam never occurred. The doctor told me to wait; I did, even as other patients went in ahead of us. Eventually she repeated the etiquette comment, tore up the prescription, refused to check my daughter’s eyes. She said she will refund money after long 2 hr wait.Highly unprofessional behaviour by doctor. Won’t go again and recommend to anyone.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
